Revel Bikes Re-Release the Tweedy Dirt Jumper
Marketing Translations
“Revel Bikes is excited to announce the re-release of the Tweedy Dirt Jumper”— Now that every town is building pump tracks, it makes sense to build dirt jumpers for people over 35 with cash to burn.
“The complete build features hand-picked, zero-compromise components“ — Yup we know it is expensive AF
“The team at Revel approached this bike, knowing it needed to be top of the line” —because the margins on $900 DJ bikes are awful
“The Tweedy is designed around 100mm of travel up front and the classic 26” wheel for precise handling and smoother transitions.” — and we knew the pink bike comments section would destroy us if we tried to do a 27.5 DJ bike, also it should be noted that we did not run the brake cable through the stem.

Velosolutions Celebrate 534 Pump Tracks in 10 years
I know old thread but I was looking for something else and it came up. I think Auburn is getting one next year. Not sure who is building it, but it is supposed to be in the Auburn Bike park.

Bike Check: Nino Schurter's Custom 10-Time World Champion Scott Spark RC
If we wins another one, he should legally change his name to nInI,
Also I wonder if I can get a custom chain made for my 4th place finish at the 4th round of our Wednesday night XC series.

Apr 18, 2023Kona Honzo St frame fork headset
$700 USDAlmost new frame set and recently rebuilt fork. This bike is a blast, like an xc bike and a dirt jumper had a baby. Just moving somewhere that an XC bike is a better fit. Recon 130mm fork and wolf tooth headset. Bike can also be run as a single speed.
Split time between Seattle area and Texas, can do local sale in either location.

Must Watch: Kriss Kyle Sends Tricks 2000ft in the Air
@thenotoriousmic: I looked it up, from 2000 feet up one would hit the ground in about 11 seconds. That is not a lot of time to realize you are falling, get away from the bike, pull the shoot. Again, this is Red Bull, so he no doubt went through a ton of training. But as I said 2000 feet does not give a ton of time.

I was wondering that as well, but 2,100 ft would not be a low risk sky dive, pretty much a BASE jump at that point. Obviously done by many people at that height, but not much room if something went wrong.

SQlab Claims Innerbarends 2.0 Can Save Watts
@iduckett: saving watts is not the same as gaining power. Basically they are saying if it take 300 watts to go 22 MPH with these you would be able to travel at the same speed at 286 watts. (Because you are more aero)

I run these on my Xc bike, and they are awesome. When you are on a fire road or riding to the trails on the road, it is a noticeable difference in speed and comfort. The old ones were a split clamp so you could remove them without taking off your controls.
That said, if you are riding a 150mm trail bike doing 95% single track ride, they are probably pointless.
