evoTrip adventure vacations are more than just an opportunity to travel to remote places in search of your next adventure, they are the most immediate way to experience the blend of sport and culture that makes the evo lifestyle all that it is. Travel with us and gain new perspective doing something you're passionate about in an extraordinary landscape with extraordinary people.

This summer, come explore the best that British Columbia has to offer with an all-mountain riding adventure. We visit Whistler, Pemberton, Squamish and explore the South Chilcotins via float plane on this British Columbia mountain biking dream trip from September 10th–17th, 2017.

Day 1: Arrive at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) by 11:00am and meet the group to transfer two hours up the Sea to Sky highway to your Whistler hotel. We'll check into the hotel, build our bikes and have a trip orientation before taking a short warm-up ride. In the evening we'll enjoy a group welcome dinner together. If you are not flying, we will make arrangements to meet up at the hotel.

Day 2: Ride out the hotel door for a full day on Whistler’s incredible network of all-mountain trails. A swim in one of Whistler’s lakes is definitely planned post-ride. In the afternoon we'll pack up and check in at a hotel in Pemberton, about 30 minutes away.

Ride: 15 miles, 3,000 feet climb, descent.

Day 3: After breakfast the group will ride out from the hotel to some of the sweetest undiscovered trails in the region. Located on the edge of the Coastal Mountains, Pemberton is lower elevation, much drier and more open than Whistler or Squamish. After riding we'll head to our lakeside cabin in the Southern Chilcotins and enjoy a home-cooked meal together.

Ride: 8.5 miles, 2230 feet climb, descent.

Day 4: This morning the group will fly on a float plane from Tyaughton Lake to the remote teal-blue Lorna Lake surrounded by snowy peaks and glaciers. We will pedal on historic singletrack over vast expanses of rocky alpine terrain in remote mountain passes, through meadows rich with wildflowers and wildlife to Bear Paw Camp, set deep in the heart of the mountains.

Ride: 11 miles, 2,300 feet climb, 1,800 feet descent.

Day 5: We have a few options today, from epic to very epic! No matter what, the minimum distance that we need to pedal is 40 kilometers (or 25 miles), mostly rolling downhill on a beautiful ribbon of singletrack. Hearty riders in the group can opt for some big passes if they wish, including Deer Pass and Windy Pass. The last (massive) descent is back down to our lakeside accommodation and a meal at the lodge near our cabin.

Ride: 25 miles, 1,100-foot climb, 2,500-foot descent.

After dropping off the gear at the hotel the group will head out for a ride.

Ride: 10 miles, 2,400-foot climb, descent.

Sounds like an awesome trip that I probably can't afford. BC is on my list though!

Edit: It's actually not that bad. $2750..

For guided yeah I guess. But I am doing a very similar trip in September with myself and some buddies, I planned it all myself and it will be for around $1300 usd...That includes airfare, truck, accommodation, food etc. It can definitely be done for very reasonable price if you are willing to sacrifice some little things and do the planning, just don't go with a guide service that up-charges 40%.

@ianswilson815: If the service is good and you can afford it.. Why not?

@yhurt: Yeah that's true. I was just going off his comment of not being able to afford it. But hell, if you can drop it and want a bit more comfort, by all means go for it.

That's @$3700ish CDN. So it's not great for some...like us CDN's. I don't have @ianswilson815 's acumen for planning a trip of that magnitude so I'd be interested in a guided trip such as this...even in my home country...but I can't throw down that much $ for a week.

@iammarkstewart: Let me know if you want info on what I planned/scheduling crap. More than happy to share what I did for it.

Looks like a great trip, but for the record, the last 6 article photos are probably from 2 days on the trip in the South Chilcotins. The other spots are great riding for sure, but the whole week won't look like most of the photos.
