Kelend Hawks is one of a contingent of OG hucksters that helped bring the gnar to Cascadia.
With the Carbon Patrol V2, Transition has created the perfect tool to enable him to keep on pushing boundaries and keep the PNW gnarly.

I recommend Fanatik Bike Co if you need to mailorder anything. They are fast, efficient, well-priced ,and of course, tax-free for all of us outside the great Cascadian State of Washington.
How long are his chainstays? What about his fork offset? This riding is all bike setup and nothing to do with the rider. Moar polls so we can nail down this science.
You ever have that feeling, where you're not sure if you're awake or still dreaming? Twice now, this week, just before 5 in the morning, I'm laid there, a strong wind somehow picks up, the curtains move, the light flickers on and off, then the door bursts open, and in walks a woman, with a dress, that's all made out of leaves. Her hair is long, and dark, blowing everywhere, covering most of her face. Then, i hear what sounds like trumpets, and maracas, a shriek, and then boom!, shes on top of me. The wind picks right up again, the bed is really moving around, so i hold onto her hips, ask her what the hell she's doing, and then she moves her face forward, as if to say something, oh, she's a looker alright, then boom!, again, more trumpets, more maracas, really loud, and i wake up, grasping my duvet, and my curtains are on the floor. Been riding seriously in the PNW since the late 80's and I never recognize most of the trails in these edits. I guess I'm not with the in crowd. Great vid - I love the fast and loose gnarly trail riding style.
@twozerosix: Actually that's my real name (and birth year). Although that's a cool name, very Roman. Invictus Gnarlius, elected Praetor of trails under the reign of Tiberius II.
Just what I needed on a Friday lunchtime at work.
