Qualifying Results from the Snowshoe World Cup DH #2 2021
qualies live is a little tricky with the 30sec startintervals. just seeing the riders roll into the finish is not very interesting, and with 6-8 riders on track at the same time, there is no way to show enough action in an understandable way.

@wolfsberg: you clearly have no idea about live productions, and don’t seem willing to make an effort trying to understand it.
Also, do you have an idea how often a rider outside the top 30 won a World Cup or world champs in the last 10 years? I‘m guessing once (rain race in Lourdes)

@cougar797: nope, there never were feeds down the length of the track ever, and the licensing for world champs has also never been different. World cups is a different story.

The licensing is done by UCI and not red bull. And obviously it’s not allowed that anyone can film whatever they want. Same as in every other sport in this world.

Reece was unfortunately starting very early and riders had 60 second start gaps - With a new rider starting every 60 seconds there is no possible way to show more than 55 seconds of racing from each during the live. Unless you can bend time that is.
Of course you could record each live camera separately, but it‘s not the easiest (And cheapest) task to have a 5h recording of 15-18 cameras and quickly syncing and re-editing the runs
