We took some time to review the whole event. There are so many memories of good vibes, good people, and insane bike action, that we decided to highlight the six best moments. Now it's your choice! Vote for your personal favorite and see if it deserves the title of 'Most Epic Moment.'Alfie Stephen's Tailwhip Transfer
Alfie Stephens pulled this huge tailwhip transfer for Team UK during the Team Battle on Friday. It's always a pleasure to see riders pushing each other and going all in as a team.
Arnau Nadal's Backflip bike switch
Team Southwest definitely lived up to their reputation. Arnau Nadal went for a "World's First" with this backflip bike switch. All though he didn't land the trick, Team Southwest clearly was the audience's favorite and deservedly took the win.
Team Switzerland's antics
It's more than obvious, that the local heroes of Team Switzerland put a lot of effort in sticking to the motto "Welcome To The Jungle". Banana backflips, cheetah leggings, and a mad monkey made the audience scream for the biggest Team on Friday night.
Spectators singing Pennywise with Pavel Alekhin
The combination of Pavel Alekhin's insane run and a remixed version of pennywise's 'bro hymn' resulted in a new anthem of the Swatch Rocket Air. Thanks to many powerful voices, the residents of Thun now know this song too well, if they want to or not.
Szymon Godziek's Cliffhanger
Szymon Godziek is known for wild tricks, but this cliffhanger backflip was mental. He qualified in first place, and then sadly slipped his pedals on this move. We can't wait for next year to see if he's got this one dialed in.
Nicholi Rogatkin's Twister
"TWISTER, TWISTER, TWISTER"! Nicholi Rogatkin must have heard this a thousand times over the weekend. He teased everyone with videos of this trick and didn't even do it in his first finals run, which ended up to be his winning run. After Thomas Genon wasn't able to catch his bars on the step-down, Rogatkin won without his new signature move. But in true gentleman fashion, Nicholi gave it another go and fired out the trick everybody wanted to see. Congrats again, Nicholi!
All in all the Swatch Rocket Air was a great success. We would like to give big thanks to all sponsors, riders, volunteers and of course the amazing crowd who turned the sold out ice rink into an arena of madness. Thanks to everyone and see you next year at the on April 28th - 29th for the Swatch Rocket Air 2017.
