Hi folks, I'm assuming that if you follow me on pinkbike this will appear on your dashboard somehow.

If you remember back to july this year , I was lucky enough to get an article onto the mainpage of "Pinkbike" talking about my dreams of becoming a world champion in the EWS.

Well, that time to take the plunge is almost upon me. I got the qualification points this week to allow me pre-entry to the series, and on monday the 10th i press the big red button to commit myself to the whole series.

My biggest hurdle at the moment is funding. i have saved up for 4 years for this moment, but times havent been easy, and i reckon i will only be able to meet my costs halfway.

So i have organised a huge raffle with all the industry insiders that i know. Donations have been coming in from all over the place to make this raffle incredible.

heres are the saliant points

200 prizes
200 tickets
£40 a ticket

top prize = Marin Bikes San Quentin 2 = £1150
2nd prze = Sixth Element custom carbon wheelset = £997
3rd Prize = Stans baron/Flow wheelset = £350

all other prizes range in value from £5 - £200


£1000 of the proceeds go direct to Peter lloyd, a young racer who paralysed himself from the neck down last year. this will fund a new automated offroad wheelchair that he can operate with his chin, and get back out into the forest to enjoy things again.

the remainder of the money goes to cover my logistics of flying round the world to trace the full EWS. from NewZealand and Tasmania, to Maderia, Europe and North America
