bigquotesIn my long illustrious career as a knob twiddler, I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the worlds best, but my real passion is to make setting up bikes more accessible to everyone. By entering this contest, you will not only be helping a great cause but you’ll probably come away with better understanding what your suspension does! And if not, hanging out with Eliot is ok too. -Jordi Cortes, Professional Knob Twiddler

bigquotes“Before I met Jordi, I was lost. He showed me the way to proper settings, accurate feedback and impeccably made adult beverages. I hope you’ll come join us for a good time at one of the most fun races of the year. I’m excited to hang out with the winner and show them around the circus that is the World Cup series! Oh and if you don’t like us, you can always ditch us and you still get some sweet suspension.” - Eliot Jackson, Grow Cycling Foundation

Real question is, "do they have the parts in stock"?

if i win, what rear shock should i get for my hardtail? i think the dimensions are universal if i use the gorilla glue adaptor
  • 17 0
 Your hardtail metric or imperial?
  • 1 0
Be sure to account for one of those new Cane Creek suspension links glued in there too. Those make all the difference for upgrades like that.

@BreezerXCer: universal with the gorilla glue adaptor, its very great, it fits any hardtail or full sus!

Cascade Components also has a bunch of links that will change your HT travel and leverage ratio across a whole range of zero.

Must be able to legally travel to WV? Listen...that break-up with my sister was a long time ago.

U.S. and Canada only. Contest winner must be legally able to travel to Snowshoe, WV to be eligible. Well that's Canada out
  • 2 3
As far as I can tell, Canadians are still allowed to travel to the US.

@Skooks: Nope. Non-essential cross-boarder travel has been put on hold.

Actually you can fly between the countries but not drive......

@joelsman: If I want A LOT of hassle, and to make it way more expensive, yes, I suppose we could try to fly

It's in September. I've got my passport dusted off and ready to go for it once the borders open up. On the flip side, suspension is essential, isn't it?

@49thbiker: bahahaha. That’s a phone call away where I live. You certainly don’t have to travel to a war zone And the chicks are way way better looking than that old shoe. Ps.. you don’t have to deal with customs.

Can I just donate a bunch of money and then fly out on my own dime to have Jordi setup my stuff? Asking for a friend...

I am just entering to hang out with Eliot.

I would pay good money to sit back in a chair and watch Jordi and Loris work things out.
  • 6 0
Grow Cycling has gotten a lot of my money lately. It's a good cause. If were to ever win anything that would just be bonus.
  • 6 0
Surprised at my reaction to reading this. Stoked is an understatement. Such a kid at heart.
  • 6 0
It would be funny if Loris Vergier entered and won...

Having Jordi turn a dial on my shock would be so amazing. I would do it myself but i don't have a 3mm

Why do you keep organizing fundraisers for this foundation when they have so little to show for and do not publish meeting minutes or financial statements?
  • 1 0
