I would still want a DH bike to ride that course... No AM bikes for me there
  • 12 1
I can see why graves would choose to ride his enduro bike as he is probabally most comfortable on it after riding it all season but for the majority of the field should stick to what they're used to.

Regardless of how flat or pedally it is it's still flat out fast and I would like to have the slower steering and more stable feel of a DH bike , but some one like graves could gain huge amounts of time of the pedals , I think he will be top 10 maybe as high as 6th.

"I" would love that track on my Nomad C(because i want to have fun)! But in a race situation? DH bike all the way.
Quite possibly the sickest corse IMO(speed in mind).

obviously want Gee or Peat to win, or any other British rider! but its a track built for good fitness and leg power, got to be out of Minaar, Gwin, Gee, Smith, Hannah or even Graves. CANT WAIT

 Danny Hart

what happened to him? he dropped off the map after his little blip of fame.
  • 12 1
As much as I'd love Danny Hart to win, PM is just about as far away from champery as it is possible to get.
  • 4 1
I agree, just saying that he is another Brit rider, and it would be sick for him to win.

Best of luck this weekend peaty, it'd be cool to see you on top again this weekend

i,d love to see any of these keyboard warriors ride this track on a 6" bike !!
  • 12 0
Minnar sitting down, eating a sandwich, taking a drink and waiting for the run to end. Hope he wins it again but it is going to be tight.
  • 9 0
i hope he wins because its his home country
  • 6 0
Yeah it would be his 3rd and at home, would do amazing things for our sport in this country, after loosing Burry last year, it feels like we've lost a bit of traction on the world stage, not trying take anything away from the like Needles, Pottie and the others, just saying

Looks 650b-able. Don't hate on me for the observation. Personally I would prefer a gnarly tight steep course. But that track there, a smoother rolling bike might perform better.

Those 3 tables in the middle are gigantic! Everyone's gonna have to work hard for this one.

Cedric would have so much fun on that course

You do realize that this is the course where he crashed in 2011 and nearly killed him right? Broken hip, flat lined twice.........
  • 8 0
@SWITCH04fr Cedric crashed in Val di Sole, and it was 2012 not 2011.

Peaty is the coolest! He even signed me a plastic garbage bag when I asked him! Thought he was going to knock me out, but he just took it as the champ he is and went for it! Rock on peaty!

Everyones bitching and moaning about how much this track sucks and its not challenging enough. To me its a nice change of pace and we'll see who the best athlete is come Sunday. If you don't like it start a petition and submit it to UCI.

It will be awsome looking at Joshy Bryce on the top of the podium! GOOOO BRYCE!!!!!!!!!
  • 6 0
It's like a never ending rollercoaster of dirt !Minus the two hour wait in line for a 1 minute thrill!
  • 2 0
Tough call to make but I would think that whoever can pedal will come out on top so...my guess would be Gee if I had to pick. As far as who I would like to see win? Too many to name really...they all deserve it in my book! Best of luck to all of them!

I love this track, so fun looking. I think Stevie's new bike will work out wonderfully

Our peaty is looking happy and a happy rider makes a fast one . Loooook out peats coming
  • 5 0
I want to see/hear Claudio hitting those jumps
  • 2 0
Like the top and bottom of the track just not a big fan of the pedally bit in the middle, eliminates the likes of Hart from contention.
  • 7 3
Andorra called, He said this track was not worthy ...
  • 2 2
It is so worthy! If anyone does not think so, get off ur azz and train!
  • 2 0
This course needs a skinny between the tape for the entire length of the flat section. Thats the only thing that will make it better.
  • 5 1
 jerome clementz should race this
  • 3 0
That's got to be the best group of people to be in a truck with hahaha
  • 3 0
Looks like an air DH to me
  • 5 0
Looks like a bloody riot to me! The lower section would be so fun!
  • 1 0
Do rules say that it has to be on a full dh bike? Was thinking maybe his Bronson would be better?, especially as its a course with alot of pedalling! ... Could be wrong.
  • 2 2
jumps are way to big for the Bronson. but i can see where you are coming from. hell of a lot of pedalling!
  • 1 0
Both Graves and Mitch are racing on the enduro bikes!
  • 2 0
THe boys are lookin good! Looks like greg knows his linrs already, was lookin fast!

Anyone else have high expectations for ropelato? I don't think he's gunna take it or anything, but the track suits him and the kid shreds. Look out.
  • 2 0
Hurray! I have been eagerly awaiting another "This is Peaty."
  • 2 0
 That seat bounce double!!!
  • 1 1
I think jared graves has got a great set up for this track and thats the one id choose but i want any of the santa cruz boys to win (especialy peaty or ratboy!).
  • 2 0
But Greg has home court advantage.
  • 1 2
This is a bike course not a basketball court
  • 2 3
For me that's not a dh track, I ride more tech on an average ride than that, If a long travel 29er existed, it would be better, as theres no tight tech sections. Bring back proper tracks....
  • 1 0
Anyone going to huck that rock section towards the bottom this year? I think it was Gee that did it last year?
  • 3 0
 go on GEE!!!!
  • 1 0
It's me or the track has suffered one or two changes since the preview?

This track is awesome, but I'd ride it on my 6" bike.
  • 1 0
quick question, are world champs just here and only once a year?
  • 1 0
Once a year, not just here though, it can be anywhere.
  • 3 0
Yes each year they have a one off race for the world championship which doesn't effect the World Cup standings. Different venue each year.
  • 1 0
That looks like it'd be a mad blast to ride.
