We visited BikePark Wales a few weeks ago to pit trail and DH bikes as well as 27.5, 29 and 27.5+ wheel sizes against each other for Episode #03 of Soho Bikes TV. We also gave Rob Warner a GoPro and a chance to ride with his old mate Steve Peat down the '50 Shades of Black' track we used for the test. Here's what went down...
redbull - both a blessing and a curse. they bring us fantastic live streams and replays. yet also took the beer out of the commentator booth and sent warner through broadcaster training.
Great entertainment between the two, good to see 2 legends just having fun and enjoying themselves. Sucks they used a chest cam, I have never seen a good quality chest cam where the video has been smooth. Stick to head cams guys!
Head cam allows you to see the trail. Chest cam allows you to experience what it was like to ride the trail. Both are good at times. I like when riders run both at the same time. Edited together you get to feel the gnar some of the time but actually see the trail the rest of the time.
Simply brilliant this is where it's at, couple of mates having good times with discussing gaydense or epo lol. Let's see mire from Rob and peaty #bestofbritish

I did swear a bit more than Rob though as I kept on crashing...
Best fun I had all day.
Warner a few weeks ago while on air....." He's going to look like a plate of dropped lasagna if he falls again"......priceless.
What a legend...!!!
