@Monarch87: well I’ll be damned. So he his. Was that a recent announcement? I missed it. The Commencal gig was quite a media heavy one at the time.
  • 3 2
@Monarch87: when did that happen?? Never did that warner/barelli edit I wanted!!
  • 5 3
@Monarch87: Bloody hell, that was a bit of a quickie with Commençal. YT have got too much cash lying around.

@colincolin: Jeez... First Brexit goes tits up and now their English is being corrected by Germans. The glorious return to the heady days of the British empire is not going well.

 @BenPea: Hey...stop being right. It's not fair.

@BenPea: maybe we’ll all go vegan, cannabis will be legalised and regulated for medicinal and recreational use, properly (no DEA please) and beer will only be made with gruit not hops.

@SnowshoeRider4Life: You're too busy saving the Middle East right now.

@SnowshoeRider4Life: You should be thanking the French. As without them you wouldn't have won your independence from us.
  • 4 0
@SnowshoeRider4Life: Yeah only because we paid you last time. That was a debt the UK only paid just paid off a few years ago... but don't worry most of the dark history of WW2 always gets omitted for your pleasure

@BenPea: 48% of Britons are hoping that Brexit does a tits up 180 tuck no hander.
  • 1 0
Nice work les amis (pretending to have no English blood right now).
@kipvr - The mental image you've created involves the British PM dressed like the French Revolution's Marianne in the next 50-01 instalment. Now I can't unsee it and neither can you.
  • 1 0
@BenPea: You wait until old Charlie becmes king, Commonwealth countries will go running in droves

@SnowshoeRider4Life: bad comment sir. You might wanna study the timing of our involvement in both world wars. Sad to say it but our great nation sat mostly on the sidelines hesitant to get involved. Churchill begged FDR for years to get involved. The Brits single handedly held off the Nazi war machine for a year and a half while America twiddled her thumbs. The Brits are friggin bad ass. No one can take that away from them. We had a lend lease program supporting Britain, but we charged them royally for supplying them with material aid. So much so that the final payment (which was made on schedule) wasn’t made until 2006. Aahhh American capitalism. The Brits are bad asses dude. Don’t insult them.

@kipvr: I’d wager that 48% has risen somewhat since it has become clear that the countries f*cked thanks to Brexit. Wouldn’t everyone like to see Mrs May do a tits up 180 tuck? Trouble is as long as Trump hangs around all the other bell ends look like saints. Gonna go put wheel love on again and forget about it all...

@Matt115lamb: Never put a space before punctuation. (Was that intentional to spark another debate?)
  • 2 0
@scratchbum: I love space don’t like being crammed in !

 @scratchbum: It's a French thing...

 @BenPea: that escalated quickly

@colincolin: This thread is basically a microcosm of western geopolitics from 1939 to the present. WTF it has to do with mountain bikes, I'm not sure.

DID HE JUST POINT AT THE SANTA CRUZ WHEN MENTIONING DANNY HART?!?!?!?! WHHHATTTTT?!?!?!?!
  • 1 0
Totally did! Looked at it and did the ol' pointy chin rub too! If he's on Santa Cruz, then who's gone? Last year for Minnarr?
  • 4 0
Nah, looks like he's going to Saracen! His Mum kid of gave it away on fb as I guy turned up at their bikepark to race but his bike had been nicked the day before, so Danny's Mum rang SARACEN to get a loan bike sorted for him, as opposed to Mondraker!
  • 1 0
@djlucas: Fair enough. That was a bloody hell of a bluff from Rob then haha
  • 1 0
@djlucas: dave garland wrenches for giant not saracen so it seems like his going back to giant

ROB WARNER YOUR THE BEST! JUST KEEP KERMIT THE FROG OUT OF THE BOOTH AND OFF THE MIC! BRING WYN MASTERS IN AFTER HIS WC RUN ON EACH WC DH ! THANK YOU VERY MUCH
  • 2 0
You're half right and that's good enough for me.
  • 2 0
how can danny be happier when he just won 4 races with the team he just left?
  • 1 0
When I’ve walked the pits up at Fort Bill I was surprised to see how small the Mondraker setup was. There are these huge rigs with lots of hustle and bustle, riders on trainers or doing autographs, mechs doing rebuilds etc and across the way there’s Danny f*cking Hart sat in a big box with his gf. Just seemed like he didn’t have the same level of support from Mondraker as some of his piers, many of whom he is whooping on the Hill. Saracen Madison are UK based and hopefully he’ll be getting everything he needs to keep to winning.
  • 1 0
Hahah hart to santa cruz, do some research dave garland wrenches for giant so i guess we will see him back there. Word is brook mcdonald will be joining mondraker

Love this show, glad to see it back. Keep em coming Rob!!!
  • 5 4
Ironic how Warner is backing his 'independent' bike shop whilst being sponsored by YT? Seems very shallow
  • 1 0
I know how could they have a YT at all if shops don't sell them?
  • 2 0
Is Warner back with Troy Lee? Wasnˋt he with Alpinestars as of late?
  • 2 0
What I want to know is, will Red Bull's camera coverage improve?

 Classic Warner!

Clamping on the dropper post!...pet peeve; asking for damage on an already finicky component. Would you clamp on your fork stanchion?
  • 3 0
Where else would you clamp that bike? Not realistic to feed the hose through the frame just to put the seat post up, no where on the seat tube is accessible where the seat post is inside the frame and I certainly wouldn't be happy clamping the top tube where the bike is likely to pivot and screw the paint up or even potentially crush the carbon.
  • 5 0
Unless you're clamping it down hard, you are not going to damage the hard anodized aluminum surface of a stanchion tube with a soft plastic clamp.
  • 9 0
Oh FFS not this again! Just think of the leverage forces of a 200 pound rider bouncing up and down on the post for countless hours Vs the few pounds of bike levering against it for maybe an hour or so. I use a lint free cloth at work so I know the post won't get scratched but I'm sure the mech knows whether his clamp is clean or not.
  • 3 6
@wallheater: Leverage is not what I'm worried about, grit on the clamp is what can cause an issue. A lint free cloth sounds like a perfect fix, or just clamp the top tube.
  • 7 0
@sheesha: Don't clamp the carbon top tube. Sheesh.
  • 4 5
@demo811: On certain bikes I'd make an exception. On a paper thin xc bike no, but on this.. Nomad I believe I would not see an issue.
  • 2 0
 @sheesha: top tube! Wtf
  • 2 0
@WayneParsons: I'm with you. Hard anodized dropper isn't gonna get damaged that easily. I always clamp there and I have never had any trouble. T-bar ski lift on the other hand... they really f*ck it up.
  • 1 0
@clarky78: That's a point actually, how do carbon wheels cope with being hung off chairlifts ?
  • 1 0
@clarky78: I thought the problem was with the force of gravity pulling on the post designed to take weight from the opposite direction.
  • 2 0
@choppertank3e: Nah, that won't put any strain on it. As long as it is fully extended it is just resting on the top out bumper.
  • 1 0
 I know.zzzzzz
  • 2 5
 Shameless self promotion.
