Galbraith Gravity Racing (GGR) is a Youth MTB race team based in Bellingham WA. Local racing is back with a USA Cycling sanctioned youth race series of six events, hosted by GGR and open to all racers age 6-18. We plan on adding in a tyke fun run too for the smaller kids. With youth racing permitted locally, we hope that the adult WMBC Whatcom World Cup comes back soon (fingers crossed)...to sign up for races and see the schedule please visit: galbraithgravity.com/races or on Bike Reg www.bikereg.com

Live results at results.galbraithgravity.com and thanks to Seb for getting them on www.rootsandrain.com

Have to say thank to @TransitionBikeCompany @troyleedesigns @sensusgrips @marchnorthwest @foxfactory @tonyscoffee @ridewrap @DVOSuspension @fanatikbike @lostco @cascaderacingdesigns @ascent_strengthandconditioning @flowshala @wmbcmtb and all the volunteers. Wyatt Dixon is not shy - bright TLD colors and always fast. He drafted pro Andrew Cavaye to follow him down the trail for some stoke. Andrew made about 5 laps chasing kids! Thanks to all the pros who showed up to clear the course, chase groms, and keep the race fun and safe.

Mike Kazimer and friends watching Sloan Jorgenson work his way towards a 2nd Place U14 CATIII. Sloan needed a re-run when a dog that decided to party with the kids, the dogs shirtless owner, and a course poacher jammed up his run timing.

photo
Chandler Unick was up early in the morning excited for the first race of the season! He was practically waiting at the start when the race director was setting up.

You can get the GROM off the Moto, but you can't get the Moto out of the GROM - always in for style, Kayden Bryant parties on the trail.

Can we get some races going on chuckanut now?
  • 1 1
We have permits for 3 youth races on Chuckanut..we will try and have at least one event there this Spring. Our hope is that our youth racing opens the door to adult races (which are allowed according to current State Guidelines)

Wonderful. Where are these kids hiding? I never see 'em when I am there... or maybe that's the point.
