 I thought the captions were spot on. The photos are of such a quality that they speak for themselves, but its cool to read the raw impressions from someone that is actually at the event. I've been to the RBR before, and "regular language" - while appropriate, does not convey the intensity of the situation there. This is not the PGA tour, or brunch with Tad and Muffy. Its the freakin' Red Bull Rampage And the forum rats comment was right on too - people get very wound up about stuff in there - including me - I was (still am) a critic of the wooden features and sensationalized stunts like the Icon sender, but I can appreciate the effort. After all, I'm not the one riding them. And nobody is putting a gun to the riders head forcing them to ride something they don't want to anyhow. Keep up the great work - Cheers!

 ROcket launching monkeys! Wow, I had no idea. As for the comments, they've been rolled back a bit. The crew is just really excited about this year's event - well actually every Red Bull Rampage to date, so the captions reflected this. We'll do what we can to hold back on some of the profanities.

 I'd just like to point out that I didn't write the captions in their current form.

 Oh, and as for my written style (when i write things), I have a degree in journalism. I've definitely written more press releases and magazine articles than most ever will.

 Crap, the comments need an edit button. There is a trail up on that mesa called Flying Monkey, now you know why.

 Holly monkeys!!!!! Why do people get so serious and feel the need to write serious commemts on the fact that they do not like ur writing style!!????!! Weird stuff! Guarenteed if those people where there hangin with them they would be feeling different, the energy and rush of just being up close to these guys is just nuts! Chill out dudes!  I suppose, but dont you think your best chance at winning is to plan and build your own lines? Using lines you didnt conceive wouldnt be the best way imo. That being said, yes certain lines will be used by many riders, some wont. Watch the video from the last Rampage to learn the routine.

 You want to be the guy who steals another guys line? You realize professional aren't scrawny wussies right? Enjoy the fist to your face if you try to play like it was all your idea and steal another guy's thunder. This is their job and their livelihood on the line. It would be like taking $5000 out of someone's pocket...

 They r all buddies, they dig together and chat bout it, very friendly people...

 maybe, but I'd like to think not. I just found the captions weren't up to the usual standard of the two authors. I guess I've grown accustomed to higher standards from them. But it's funny, I've kinda always assumed that most PB readers were just barely out of the Sesame Street age bracket!

 OK, I can appreciate your high standards, and obviously Pinkbike agrees with you! Apparently Sesame Street is for grownups too (according to them) and I watch when I can!

 Damn, a scary mountain - YES but the senders are just as scary too. Its not like a little bit of shore... its HUGE! Mad props going out to all the riders... I know that at least 99% of PB users would crap themselvs if they even stood at the top and contemplated riding it.
