- Learning about anything new and interesting i can

Cycling Background
It all started with a costco bike back about 2-3 years ago(i cant really remember). I bought the bike because I outgrew my old one and i liked the idea of a "full suspension" bike. Me and my buddy would ride the local trails about 3 times a week and had a blast. But then a few weeks later I got the bike stolen from me and all my fun was lost for a while.

I eventually was able to afford a new Trek hardtail, and this became my weapon of choice for the next year. I learned most of my basic skills on that bike and Its still hanging around being used by my brother.

I eventually was able to purchase a real full suspension bike(2005 Kona Stinky) and things just went downhill from there(get it?). I caught the bug and ended up where I am now. 4 bikes and waiting out each day just to get a few hours of riding in.

I recently took a liking to bmx, as my friend revived my interest in it, and things took off from there. However I broke my ankle this summer at the skatepark so i haven't been able to ride as much as i would have liked to. It was a long 3 months of healing, but its all healed now so I'm good to go. Still enjoying bmx very much, but my passion for the big bike still remains.

History with Pinkbike

My history with pinkbike coincided with the theft of my first bike. Me and my friend were turned onto the site after watching dropin a few times on the tv. We would check out all the new forks and parts, and try and decide what i would like best for my next bike.

Then eventually i joined the forums to share my bike and riding with others and i got addicted to the site. From there i just posted every day and got hooked on biking and seeing what everyone else in the world was up to.

More later when I have time.
