Knolly Launches Updated Fugitive Trail Bike
I love their geometry. Their L has a nice short seat tube and reach/TT just a smidge shorter than my XL commencal, which would be perfect!

@anodyne22: not a fan of OneUp, lots of play and the damn thing rattles like a bitch. I may be biased tho bc their carbon bars snapped on me and i crashed lol.

Now THATS a bike park lol. I mostly ride Trestle because I live close and find it to be mediocre. Definitely lucky to have a park so close but none of the tech is really that techy and it seems like they focus more on catering to intermediate riders, instead of advanced. That is most of their audience though so makes sense.

Field Test: The Commencal Meta SX is a Bruiser
@HendersonMike: for sure, thats not the type of riding i do though haha, i do a lot of shuttle laps and park riding, with a more pedally adventure once every month or two

Field Test: Transition Patrol Carbon - The Party Machine
transitions are cool but my spire was so god damn noisy, same with my brothers sentinel and my friends sentinel. also it does seem like the window to get the rear shock performing properly is very thin, tough to keep it supple while also being supportive

@lkubica: Agree. Weight is a bunch of marketing bullshit. My XL transition spire was almost 39 pounds and I had zero issues climbing or descending because the weight. Couldn’t even tell in fact.

Coming from the transition spire (stolen) I didn’t find the Commencal Meta Sx to be hard to turn at all - thought it was a little easier actually. Of course the spire is absolutely massive so that’s to be expected, but I think the Meta sx is perfect for steep gnarly terrain!
