,ZAM continues! ,ZAM is a never-ending journey, a way of realising the dream of riding the most fascinating places in the world, places that are largely undiscovered by the mountain biking community. For this part of our adventure we headed to New Mexico in the United States.

photo
Everything began in the spring of 2012. After several test trips to European destinations like Tarifa, Bardenas Reales and the Ukraine, Gaspi devised plans for an even bigger journey.

photo
June 2012: Gaspi and his team began their seven thousand kilometer expedition to ,ZAM in the Altai Mountains of western Mongolia.

photo
Spring 2013: The ,ZAM adventure continued in Sicily, where Gaspi was in search of new enduro trails. Gaspi returned to Sicily just a month after his first visit with a group of Czech riders and acted as their guide around the beautiful island. ,ZAM is not only about gaining new experiences but also about sharing them with other people.

photo
Summer 2013: Gaspi took a group of Czech bikers to Canada and showed them most beautiful biking regions of British Columbia in "The Best of BC Tour“ camp. The group had never been to Canada before and specifically chose Gaspi as their guide for the adventure experience. The trip culminated with a heli-bike drop from the top of Barber‘s Mountain followed by a floatplane drop to a three-day trip through wild backcountry.

photo
October 2013: The successful ,ZAM expedition gives birth to ‚ZAM2: The expedition to New Mexico, USA . The adventure is undertaken in the same Ford E350 van used in the Mongolia trip which was sent to the States to be prepared for its departure into the wilderness.

photo
The aim of ,ZAM is to prove that it is possible to combine enduro and freeride biking with worldwide travel and to bring a fresh perspective on cycling in the form of video and photo documentation that will inspire the cycling community to share in similar experiences. Gaspi has announced that the team is ready to go to another exotic destination in 2014. ,ZAM will carry on!

Best bikes in the world get the zenith 170 with pro pedal on its like a 140 bike then flick off to be almost a full dh rig. Best bike I have ever owned

Some one I know recently got one of these bikes , when I looked at it I expected it to feel odd to ride due to the stem/bar setup , had a little pedal on it and it felt completely natural , and very roomy which surprised me too.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind taking one for a spin!

Got two Smile Summum and a Foxy XR. Loved the Summum so much that I had to buy the Foxy. They are amazing and I highly recommend them. Won't be riding anything else until something as interesting is introduced.

The Zenith really is one the sexiest bikes out there. I prefer it over the new Dune design. Also about the vid, if you jump stuff, wear a fullface helmet, your teeth will thank you.

Really disappointed at the reckless disregard for the fragile desert soil. As a resident of New Mexico it is these kinds of things that make it difficult for locals to gain access to new areas for trail development. While I dig the concept of the trip, I wish he would have shown a little more respect.

Not really. Working for a living is much more rewarding and hard work will always.....ooohhh who the hell am I kidding? Their lives are waaaayyyy better. Working for a living sucks! (unless your one of the few that gets paid to ride)

That was the U.S. just so you know.
  • 9 1
 Well that's embarrassing.
  • 5 2
@VTwintips dude, I cant believe that you actually know that New Mexico is part of the U.S??? that's just incredible.
@Apostt it's not embarrassing since your not from the U.S. Razz
it's way more embarrassing when people born and raised in the U.S. think that New Mexicans are foreigners and need a visa cause we are part of Mexico....

seriously though come to New Mexico and ride its great in the winter.

Ha! If you only knew me. I am far from prude. I just do not see too many mtbk vids that throw in a quick male frontal.
