Oct 21, 2023Starling Murmur V2 in size XL
$1900 GBPFor sale is a fully refurbished Starling Murmur in size XL.
The full frame (front triangle and swingarm) was built by Mr Starling himself in the Bristol workshop....fully UK manufactured. It's an early V2 Murmur, with bearings in the swingarm and the main pivot axle passing through a machining in the front triangle.
The frame has been stripped, checked and repainted in Landy Green by Starling. Swingarm is matt black.
I rode this frame regularly for the past two years and it hasn't missed a beat. No racing though, mostly trail riding with the odd day a bike park. When I left Starling as an employee in the summer I decided to try a Twist, so I am selling the Murmur to fund the swap.
The price includes an Ohlins TTX M2 coil shock (210x55mm) with a 502lb spring, but I am open to offers for the frame only. You would have to fork out £2895 for this setup new, so here's a chance to buy a bit of steel history at a good price. Shipping to the UK included. Any questions, DM me.
Geometry is given below for a 140mm fork but I have found my favourite setup to be 155mm which will slacken out the geometry.
Head angle 65deg
Headtube length 120mm
Reach 515mm
Stack 645mm
Seat tube angle 77deg
Seat tube length 480mm
Chainstay length 445mm
BB drop 30mm

Nov 6, 2018Rockshox Boxxer Team RC, 26inch Wheel
$250 GBPSet of Boxxers that have had a couple of summer seasons worth of use. Normal amount of wear on the lowers, some minor scratches on the stanchions but nothing that affects performance. Some of the black finish has worn off one stanchions (see pic) so bushes might need replacing sometime.
Comes with two springs, two crowns and steered cut to 172mm. Adjusters work well.
Will ship in UK for £250 but would prefer local pickup near Bristol.
