Giant Trance Advanced 1 - Review
I demo'd this bike last weekend, my first and immediate impression was the Long Reach and narrow feeling bars. After the ride I was surprised to learn they were 750s, thats what I have on my Scott but it felt much much different. half hour into the ride I was getting used to it and it felt right for the bike, but missed my Easton large-diameter grips. This review aligns with my Impressions exactly.

Freedom Chair - MTB for Your Arms
Great idea, get people rolling off the beaten bath! I rode a 3 wheeler throughout the 80's, not so stable. They have a good start, but a true off-road chair needs a wider stance and 4 wheels, imo. The challenges of getting back into the chair after a spill must be great, must minimize the potential. For the casual off roader (grass, packed trails, etc.) it'll probably be fine. Great idea, definitely worth supporting!

Hope Retainer Ring - Review
The built-in shims on the RF not only keep the chain away from the crank spider, but also offset the ring closer to the center of the rear cassette - reducing the chain angle and wear. That was a big driver for getting the 30T over the 32T (+ washers = creaking),

Shocking! Mountain Bike Stolen At Gunpoint
Watching the video and my first reaction was 'ride faster, past the dude running at you!' - not knowing he had a gun. Now if that was me I may have been shot in the back. The guy here handled it well. Lesson learned: Assume all shady looking characters running at you have a gun, and you're going to outrun a bullet.
