State of the Sport Full Release & Comparison - Part One
Hi, I honestly don't know about how those kinds of things work in the US, but at least where I'm from there are several kinds of insurances, and their prioritary goal isn't necessarily paying for your healthcare (some do in case you decide to go to a private clinic). For example, many insurances can work as a "parachute" in case you get injured and you aren't able to work anymore for an X amount of time, compensating you with money. They do the same if you get an injury that may reduce your abilities in any way (this goes from a broken pinky that won't bend properly anymore to amputations lol). The article doesn't mention what kind of insurance they have tho. SUMMED UP: Getting an insurance gives you money if you get injured, not necessarily to be used for healthcare.
