Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? Our one time dream is now a living, breathing reality and 2018 is the fourth year we have rolled out our program. Vitus bikes once again have stepped up to the mark as title sponsor for our race team – Vitus First Tracks Race Division – and our enduro series based in Northern Ireland – Vitus First Tracks Enduro Cup. To say we are stoked is an understatement! We are also privileged to continue working with long-term co-sponsors and welcome several new ones to the program.

Vitus First Tracks Race Division
The team have been together for several years now and are really better described as a family unit. They will be hitting up the majority of the EWS and mixing it up at any enduro and downhill race they can get their hands on. It goes way beyond racing for this crew so broadcasting the biking vibe into everyday life is high on their agenda.

We are looking forward to another exciting season with the team, we will be with them through the races and adventures along the way. The team has a great balance that perfectly fits with Vitus, with the winning experience of Glyn, Jack’s raw talent and the incredible of skills of Nathan, with Cato helping to keep them all on track. The team are going to have the option of the new carbon Vitus Sommet CRX and the new Escarpe 29VRX . After working with the riders our engineers have made some significant changes to the suspension platform and geo on all Sommet and Escarpe models, which will allow the riders to push harder, and put a smile on their faces—Steve Kitchin, Vitus Bikes

Coming off a brilliant first year with the team I am beyond stoked to be on board for another with the Vitus First Tracks Race Division! There are some great changes on the new bikes, I've been out a few times and I'm absolutely buzzing to get them under the clock at the races. I think we have a great vibe on the team. There is a nice mixture of everything from the experience of the OB lad, youth of myself, the skills of the lizard, adventures and looking after us from Cato. 2018's shaping up to be another great year for the Vitus First Tracks Race Division. I just love this time of year. Lots of hard work goes on behind the scenes in winter months that very few people are aware of. Spring is now in the air and I can smell the race season! Vitus First Tracks Enduro Cup Round5 Donard

Sponsoring the guys at First Tracks provides the perfect backdrop for us as we launch our new Enduro range in the coming weeks. Glyn, Catherine and the team have a rich heritage in mountain biking for many many years. Having that experience as a resource for development as well as showcasing our new products is a great fit for us. Having spent the last year working hard to extend our gravity range we are very excited the day is nearly here. Vitus First Tracks Enduro Cup

The Vitus First Tracks Enduro Cup is based in Northern Ireland, has 4 rounds taking riders to the hottest destinations on offer. We really wanted to continue the Irish feel-good factor at events so everything is really chilled until it comes to racing! It’s more of a social gathering of bikers that just want to hang out as there is camping available at every venue. If you are thinking about something a bit different this year check out the calendar below and come visit.
