It's time to sell my 2012 Specialized Demo 8 I Medium - lightly used and close to stock. Purchased from Evolution Whistler in June 2012. I upgraded to a Shimano Zee shifter and clutch type rear derailleur mostly because I prefer shimano and the x7 chewed through shifter cables. Swapped the stock 750mm bars for 780mm because bigger is better. Suspension comes setup for a pretty skinny dude (60kg/135lbs) with a 350lb rear spring and an X-Soft front but I will include an additional Soft front spring (up to 75kg). Tyres were installed at the beginning of this season and look almost brand new. Brake pads were changed recently. Fork has been regularly serviced with new seals installed early in the season. Frame has a couple of paint chips and some cable rub marks. I'm selling it for 2 reasons: I have to head home eventually where I simply never used it the last time I went back and I purchased a new 'enduro' bike earlier this year with it now getting the majority of my attention. I'm not willing to sell parts individually and I'm not interested in trades as I need less bikes and more cash.
