Review: 2022 Devinci Spartan HP - The Sturdy Trail Smasher
@aceface17: That's what I'm looking at the Range for. It's a toss up between the G1 and Range currently.

Bike Check: Sam Blenkinsop's Norco DH Prototype
@mountainsofsussex: Years ago on Discovery Channel Specialized and Bearcloth were testing/designing a Demo frame to survive Rampage. Talked about G forces the frame could handle. Anyway; it's almost as if DH and EWS racers are the same.

Bike Check: Sam Blenkinsop's Norco DH Prototype
@TheBrosCloset: It would be funny if the different dropouts were just from other sizes of Ranges. Surprised the shock stroke or total length wasn't increased?

Bike Check: Sam Blenkinsop's Norco DH Prototype
@anchoricex: I use Lezyne holders. Purists will say King cage. Specialized SWAT cage or Syncros. Or FidLock if you don't always want the cage on the frame. This Range frame with some stealth tools would be a WBP beast. I'm doing toss ups between Range and G1 currently.

Maybe bike check some rides that aren't V10s or Supremes? Just saying.

Review: Forbidden Dreadnought
LOL at the "Preventative Maintenance isn't my responsibility" crowd. Thanks for the lolz. Also if you buy a bike and don't check it over that's on you. I literally pop the side panel off my sled and check the oil tank level and the ground underneath it for fluid before pull starting it. I also test squeeze the throttle and brake before starting. BRP isn't giving me a new engine if I decide to run it without motor oil. I've had various fasteners loosen on bikes over the years. A torque wrench, proper torque settings, thread dressing all are key to success. Also it appears it's the Trunnion shock bolt that is loosening up. So... yeah about that... Enjoy Trunnion as your new rear shock standard overlords.

Pretty much rider responsibility to check each fastener before every ride. Also is the bolt everyone has coming loose the one that bolts to the shock body?

@owl-X: I have current version Fjora shorts and multiple pairs of old style Fjora; none of which have pockets on the butt. These are the longer length Fjora Flex. IMO they're one if not the best mtn bike short I've worn over the years. Great fit, thigh pocket holds a modern cell phone, no droppy drawers as the crotch is cut high. Able to fit pads with the knee vents. More robust material at wear areas. I have the new Skibotn shorts as well which IMO seem to be a more pedal focused short than the Fjora; maybe its due to the shorter leg length of the Skibotn compared to the Fjora IDK. Anyway I tend to take the Skibotn when I'm out for chill road rides or a pedal. I'm slowly moving towards Ride NF for pants. Might go there for the shorts too. But always rocking the Viking steeze whilst shralping snow.
