Pon Holdings Makes Offer to Buy Accell, Create World's Largest Cycling Company
Companies are typically valued on cash flow and EBITDA (not net income) - in this case Accell had 71 million euro in EBITDA in 2016 with consensus estimates of 83 million in 2017 and 90 million in 2018. It looks like Accell would be offering approximately 10x 2017 EBITDA which is low for similar companies. Add in the idea that Pon may be able to save a few million per year through some small tweaks and the deal improves. No need to do anything drastic like break it up, sell anything, etc., unless something in the portfolio is a dog.

Yeti and Norco Factory Racing EWS Rotorua Team Bike Checks
@Racer951: This might be just me, but that makes me think of two points: 1) I'm not sure 99% of riders can really tell the difference of an inch in wheelbase (myself included even though I would consider myself to be a very skilled and experienced rider) as it relates to 'agility' with the bike, and 2) a longer wheelbase is just like the rest of life for tall people. Everything is bigger and we're used to it already. At any rate, I'm sure the market for XXL bikes isn't huge, so I understand why there aren't more of them, but that doesn't stop me from wishing there were more. If the biggest bike in a model range is the right fit for someone who is 6'0" I feel like there may be an underserved market. https://www.pinkbike.com/news/behind-the-bike-developing-the-xxl-santa-cruz-v10-2016.html

Yeti and Norco Factory Racing EWS Rotorua Team Bike Checks
@parkourfan: I don't take issue with different recommendations, I just wish there were more size options for taller people. It's fine if they want to call the smallest size 'large' and go up from there like NASA (http://ca.complex.com/pop-culture/2014/03/nasa-condom), but I just think if a 5'8" rider is riding your second largest size, chances are there's nothing in your range for riders that are 6'3" or taller.

Yeti and Norco Factory Racing EWS Rotorua Team Bike Checks
This is one of my main complaints with bike sizing in general. Hey Norco, if your 5'8" team riders are riding a 'large', you should rename it a 'medium' and make 2 sizes that are larger for people 6'2-6'4"+.
