For those who have never visited Israel or these beautiful trails in the forests that are shared by ALL Israelis - Jewish, Muslim and Christian - you should understand that the organizers of the Israel Enduro Series open up the competition and visitors from all of the local villages and communities. These trails are used by all of the People of Israel including local Arabs and Jews. The forest that they all share is meticulously managed to preserve the beauty so that it can be enjoyed by everyone. The political situation in Israel and the Palestinian Territories/Palestine is a complicated one. Events like this and organizations like the Israel Enduro Series are part of the many local sporting and cultural gatherings where people can come together in peace and celebration of sport, competition, and the beautiful Land that everyone shares.
