2011 Giant Glory 1: Video Bike Check
Danny rules. I am an owner of this exact bike. It is an exellent machine but keep a few thing in mind:
- if you run steep courses I advice to change the front angle as I did (this way the fork forks better too)
- if you favourite bike park includes rocky or steep terrain, then ask your dealaer to change rims before you purchase the bike. DT Swiss 550 is an all mountain rim not a DH one. I destroyed both in 4 months. I mounted white DH ones and it looks supere great too. But of course you loose 150g per rim.
- Elixir brakes are a big pain. Many many complain. The original pads were finished in 4 months too (no more than 25 days on bike).
Rest is fine. Enjoy.
