Video: How Long Should a Wheel Last? | Pinkbike Weekly Show Ep. 15
13 years on Stan’s flow rims laced up zero dish single speed. Colorado Trail race twice and probably around 12-20000 miles on them most not very easy ones. They just moved onto their third frame.

Revel Releases Tirade Titanium Hardtail
@speed10: modern geo is fantastic for singlespeeds coupled with short chainstays. Rear tire traction is greatly improved and body positioning is more neutral between sitting and standing. I spin out far less on climbs and have way more fun on the downs. I had a custom made Merinobike frame with very similar geo to this but and eccentric bottom bracket. I have seen sliding dropouts fail and it can make for a really long day.

Group Test: 14 of the Latest & Greatest Flat Pedals Reviewed
@b3n: I’ve been riding them for years and find that standing on the catalyst pedals is a rest instead of perching on the balls of your feet. I have more recovery on downhills and more power because of that recovery time. I also get to wear minimalist shoes as I don’t need a stiff sole. I run tall pins in the center and short pins on the edges. Better grip for me and Less shin rake.

Canfield Bikes Introduces 2020 Balance With Limited Edition Raw Alloy Version
@mybaben: I couldn't agree with you more. I ride a canfield riot and love the steep seat angle and short chain stays. bikes need steeper seat angles and seat posts need to have more nose down adjustments for tall riders. 6'4" and riding an XL.

Opinion: Why Is Everyone Talking About Seat Tube Angles?
@g123: my canfield riot is almost as steep and at 6'3" with long legs climbing is a joy instead of misery for my back. I would love to ride a pole some time... hehe
