Been racing DH for 7 years and riding mountain bikes for 11. I work at a bike shop and love to dig, build, and maintain trails.

Aluminum Rear end is scuffed, chipped, scratched w/ a dent on the non drive side chainstay(See Pic). Had it checked out by Scott and it’s structurally sound. Fork and seatpost were used for the first month of the season then swapped out for something else. No more than 50hrs on them. Rear shock was serviced late summer so good to go. Wheels and tires were never used(brand new) Brakes bled, Rotors are true and pretty fresh pads. Drivetrain has the stock unused cranks, new chain and barely used derailleur. Chainring and cassette are worn but in good shape. Completely torn down for the new front triangle swap, all new cables, everything is right and ready!

Riding while Battling an Autoimmune Disease
Wow can relate on many levels! Started as a Junior XC racer, turned into a DH racer. Through my pro career was dealing with undiagnosed Chrons disease. I decided to stop DH after getting diagnosed in 2013 after a injury filled season and went on a two year journey to fix my broken health. Read a lot of books, researched online, tried a lot of things and realized the foundation of life is good health and understanding how balance a heathy lifestyle. How much and how well you sleep, when and what you eat, and how much stress you pile on all matters. Adding in travel and elite MTB racing makes finding balance even harder but also more important. I’ve progressed back into racing Enduro including some EWS rounds. The ancestral health “paleo” community has the strongest case for there approach to curing disease and living well. Thanks for sharing your story and good luck.

Neko Mulally Has Been Testing a 27.5 / 29 Wheeled Frankenbike
Being a medium size human I feel the 29/27.5 combo could prove itself best for me. I reckon Larger peeps like Neko can handle the dual wagon wheels. Looking forward to testing this myself.
