Video: DJ Brandt Slays Creative Skatepark Lines in 'Mos Definitely'
cool edit and awesome riding, but what parts were the creative parts? everything seemed pretty standard from a bmx/skatepark perspective. I guess that can-lander was sort of a thing but it didn't really use that trick to execute something else - more of a period as opposed to a comma - and that's where things tend to get more creative. the title on PB could've used a little work.

14 Bikes That Could Be Set for an Update in 2021
@Kamiizoo: pretty sure the br was heavily slopestyle focused. people used it as a trail bike (actually had a 888 on mine and used it for dh, lol) but I don't believe it was intended for that.

Review: 2021 Kona Process X DL
Just checking in as a fellow bmx-riding-mtb person: can't comment on the process x, but the 29" G2 153 I picked up in '19 blew my wheelsize expectations out of the water. There is something special about these bikes and it does seem a little disappointing that the X appears to have lost some of the character that made them so nice for "people like us." Mayhaps you can test ride or score one on the cheap as everyone else is upgrading? Or even check out the Alu 153s? I'm getting the CC link and planning on making my frame last another season and a half so long as I don't end up smashing into anything unplanned. I test rode a 27.5" and a 29" and the latter actually felt better. Sure, flat and off-camber turns feel a little weird at first but the handling everywhere else more than makes up for it. I know you're worried about wheelsize, but just know that things have gotten better than they were in that regard. for reference, I still put the majority of my ride-time in on my BMX riding street and park. I usually only clock 4-6 hours on the big bike per week before the rainy season.

4 Brand New Kits from Fox for Fall - Pond Beaver 2020
I am violently allergic to poison oak. Poison Oak is EVERYWHERE where I live. And yeah, sometimes it gets 95*+ out here. Breathable long sleeves and pants for me, please. Plus, less unnecessary UV exposure - neat. Flexair pants for the summer and Defend Kevlar for anything less. I use them for everything: short rides all the way up to full days with lots of climbing. It's not an image thing for some of us. It's not as bad as you'd think and their flexair pants are a lot more breathable than you'd expect. EDIT: worth noting that there have been days that I've gone out with my flexair pants on and they were too breathable.

2021 Marin Alpine Trail - Across the Pond Beaver
@schwaaa31: just want to chime in because we're all entitled to our own opinions! I'm a big fan on the short chainstays on my Large Process 153. Granted, it's no XL and I'm sure it would've handled differently with longer reach, but the deliberate body positioning required to really feel comfortable on the thing is something I'm all-in with. Plus, it makes turns and trail-jibs that much more fun. That being said I went from racing DH with long CS a decade ago to spending most of my time on a BMX bike until a year and a half ago, so that's definitely influenced my appreciation for short rear ends. Tested out a handful of 29ers and settled with the Process specifically because of the shorter rear end. With all that in mind, bikes that don't have proportional rear ends could really benefit from using flip-chips to choose your own adventure and it's a shame we aren't seeing more of that. Anyways, I'm only saying this in case someone less familiar with bikes happens upon the comments and takes everything they read as the golden word: different strokes (or cs lengths) for different folks!

Field Test: 9 XC Bikes & the Grim Donut VS Impossible Climb
my favorite comment section trope is the east coast person who just has to chime in about how it's not as gnar as the east coast. what's the deal with the trail insecurity? bikes can be hard anywhere. it's especially obnoxious when it's coming from people who clearly haven't ridden both. also geeze, they chose a trail that they could repeat all day. don't expect it to be the hardest thing ever.
