ENVE Goes Wide With HV Rims: First Look
When are they going to introduce that new innovation called external spoke nipples!! Had 2 pairs of the first ENVE and never again, Spent so long truing those wheels taking tyre off and then tape and getting my special internal nipple tool out to true them and then taping, putting tyre on, filling with sealant only to go and twang it at whistler again and waste another hour truing sealing the tyre. Eughk such a ball ache, can we get some external nipples please on the next latest and greatest. Overpriced and a pain in ass to true other than that they were great.

7iDP Covert Knee Pads - Review
Its not hard to make a kyle strait pad better, its pretty outdated and that doesn't even pass CE either what is it with these brands fobbing people off with unsafe pads. Hopefully they have tested the rage to CE1621.

Specialized Atlas Knee Pad - Review
Are these even CE approved? I just don't feel like smashing my kneecaps to pieces if I do crash.

Hey Ladies! Interbike 2014
Start a company and then you will realize the challenges with women's clothing in MTB. Lets hope you can hit minimums with factories, mills and colours and that you can make each style in 2 cuts and 6 sizes so you keep all the different shapes of women happy. Fox dropped women's gear for 3 years and were reluctant to bring it back, Loeka has never seen massive growth, Sombrio well they went bankrupt, one industries the same along with a bunch of other companies. Womens is getting bigger but it isn't there yet. There is a reason brands are dropping women's gear and it sucks but its reality and if a brand can't make a profit in a certain area then there is no option but to drop it, the brands that stick with it end up with lots of stock at the end of the year that has to be cleared out. Bike industry is small the clothing companies especially the smaller ones just can't do what Nike do and provide 6 sizes in each style. I own a store and it is not easy with mens clothing let alone women's.

Brits on Tour - Interbike 2014
I love the Seven gear, Ive heard nothing but great things, those pads also roll up to nothing so you can store them in your pocket or pack, great for under jeans as well and still pass safety standards!! http://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/Knee-Shin-Pads,56/7iDP/Control-Knee,13155 As for the name there are plenty of worse ones out there making protection I guess Seven MX, Seven Mesh are all a bunch of dumb folk too, so many dumb people in the world these days! ;)

Fly Racing, 7iDP, and Ergon - Interbike 2013
Aren't you sponsored by ION!. You can trash other companies publicly but you have to remember the nice gimmick used on the ION Knee Shin that does exactly the same as a seperate knee shin would, not to mention the fact its probably hotter than wearing a wetsuit, oh hang on don't ION make wetsuits anyway!! At least Seven is a MTB specific company and not just jumping on the bandwagon. As a upstanding consumer I like to see innovation and with Seven it looks like its not just the boa but the lightweight materials and fit that they have thought about. Pretty sure Boa is used for Horse boots so mud and grit shouldn't be an issue i'm guessing

First Look: ONE Industries 2013 MTB Gear
MX MX MX if you want to look MX go ride an MX bike. I think the stuff looks awful blatently taken from the MX side. Funny they got in to bike all of a sudden, wonder why oh yeah the MX market is in a bad way lets offload some stuff to bike and jump on that bandwagon. Sorry I'm on a rant, I own a store and there are plenty of brands out there doing bike gear right and all of them struggle every year as the bike market is hard work clothing wise and then another MX brand jumps on the wagon. It was worth them getting Athertons but did they have any feedback on these kits, I very much doubt it as they look terrible. Just another set of pyjahmas with a velcro adjustable waist. They also went down in my estimations when they openly compaired the weight of their pant to a Fox pant which was from the Fox MX line and not the Fox Bike pant which is a lot lighter than the One bike pant, for that matter the Sombrio and the Royal are lighter or the same weight and why a pant anyway? hot more restrictive than a short! and the fact none of them have pockets gets me every time. One won't be on the shelves in my store that is for certain. Sombrio, Royal, Fox all the way and yes we have had issues with Troy Lee falling apart for many years. Heres an idea they could even get the weight down even more if they ditched the leather patch!! or they could replace the leather patch with some errm Pockets. Lightweight what about the durability, can they list that and compare to the others? Power ranger pyjamas. I feel better now feel free to negative prop me
