What is the purpose of those extra fittings on the Canyon hydraulic lines? ABS, unified/coupled braking or DAQ?

Opinion: E-bikes are Breeding the Components Riders Want
I agree! I’m also a heavier rider and a Pike made huge difference vs. the F32 I had previously. Wonder if e-bike fork would be better. Surely weight on the bike is dynamically different than on the rider but something like a fork or wheels still sees that weight.

First Look: Trust Performance's $2,700 Carbon Fiber Linkage Fork
Really cool idea with some solid engineering (and possibly a fair bit of marketing thrown in). I just wonder if the price vs. extra performance is really worth it for average rider. I'm a big guy and the difference between a 130 mm Fox 32 and 140 mm Pike on my Rocky Mountain Instinct was huge! At least some of the "technical advances" of the last few years is filtering down to lower price points. Dropper posts, wider rims, larger diameter stanchions, new school geometry and even space for water bottles in the frame is becoming the norm on most new bikes. I cant see this becoming "standard spec" soon.

RockShox's Electronic Wireless Dropper Post - Mont-Sainte-Anne World Cup
This is most likely the first step at integrating suspension and dropper post. If you have wireless control of both it could be synced more easily or lead to more frustration.

Good Ideas Executed Poorly - Opinion
First generation tubeless rims with screw in eyelets for the spokes... I never had these on any of my bikes but rim strips (Gorilla tape) seems to work just as well and it's way easier to manufacture/use. And dropper posts with levers under the saddle...

Transition's New Speed Balanced Geometry
I was worried that I bought the wrong fork when I bought a 46 mm offset 140 mm Pike for my Rocky Mountain Instinct, seems I was just ahead of the curve... It seems like 51 mm offset forks was/is the next big thing and along comes Transition with a different thinking/logic. will we ever reach a point of "standardization"? Looks like cool bikes though, any more details on that 29er?
