Seraph, I'm also swapping rims in this way, only that you have to lose nipples almost to their end threads (one or two threads remaining on every spoke), and when you mounting the spokes on the new rim, you do the same, one or two threads until you transfer all spokes. Only after that you can start tension the spokes and true the wheel. You can't do that with full tension on spokes.
