Think back to those times as a child where real life problems didn't matter. What mattered was fun, riding your bike.

Just Like Flying showcases two young best friends, Gavin Stanton (11 years old) and Brooke Anderson (12 years old), from Portland, Oregon. Gavin and Brooke have been riding bikes together since they were 7 years old, pushing each other to learn, develop and progress every step along the way. Their story is one which many of us can relate to whatever the age. A story of friends who connect through bikes. Friends who squabble, fight, make up, laugh, ride again, plan the next trip, dream of adventures, debate which donut is the best, who can jump the highest, which pro rider is the most stylish.... Does this sound like 12 year olds or you and your friends?

Through Just Like Flying, Gavin and Brooke capture that escapism feeling, that feel good factor that riding bikes bring to us all. Just Like Flying takes you back to basics, why we all started riding.

Don't take yourself too seriously.

There are not enough lawns in the universe for kids at this age to own bikes like this. She's riding a Santa Cruz for fucks sake. These kids, are spoiled.

@patrickbatemanworldtour89: spoiled kids are gets who get stuff and aren't grateful or don't deserve it. You're just pissed because a 12 year old girl is better than you.

These kids are great and for all you know santa cruz hooked them up but it doesn't matter how nice the bike is, gotta ride it to have style like that.

@patrickbatemanworldtour89: Hey dude, I'm twelve and I have a 2k dollar Giant Anthem that was funded entirely from my own pocket. I get it, but it seems a little premature to judge kids with this much style.

Super stoked to see these two on the front page. They are nice kids with amazing style and their parents are really great as well. I appreciate any chance to get inspired by these two, whether it’s at Whistler or The Lumberyard. I hope these two continue to chase their two-wheeled dreams.

What about all the kids whose parents can't buy them $7k USD in bikes? What do we do about them Mr. Feel good?

@patrickbatemanworldtour89: It’s not the kids fault. Can’t we enjoy watching the next gen kill it? I bet they out ride most of us on any bike.

@patrickbatemanworldtour89: they are sponsored so thats what pays for there bikes. Not there parents

Whoa! Do The Grotto dirt jumps live?! Also, stoked to see Post Canyon appealing to freeriders at the young level still. Back in my middle school days my mom would shuttle us there every weekend. Portland rocks!

Where are those trails at!? I wish I could justifiably afford a decent full suspension bike for my youngsters. The industry really makes it hard for anyone but the super well off to get up to par equipment

The dirt jumps with the wooden ramps are at the gateway green in Portland. There is a fair bit of Hood River in there. I am kind of curious where the dirt jump park line is located. Not that I care to go just not familiar with that place.

Is this all in their back yard? Last I checked the Portland mafia outlawed mountain biking because it isn't vegan enough.
