The Pinkbike Podcast: Getting to Know Henry Quinney
I think it's cool that Henry has gone through a cathartic time and has come out with a greater understanding of himself and what a fun, interesting ,stimulating world we live in. British humour is lovely-it can seem to be harsh,cruel and unforgiving and that's what makes it so good.And can get us into all sorts of trouble with people who don't understand it's sometimes less than subtle nuance...... a close American friend said it was all sarcasm and lies but the lies were really hard to work out...who cares..if it's funny and comes from a place of (gentle )disrespect for everyone and everything!

I live next to a bike park in Christchurch plus I ride in Qtown heaps-a dh bike(actually park bike) is a no brainer-(Devinci Chainsaw dh mullet but with Fox 38 180mm,12 speed and dropper put on for this years trip to sea to sky so I can pedal and dont have to fly with two bikes)

Picked up a Fuel Exe on special last December and love it.Lets me ride with my 20-30 year younger riding buddies without dying! I'm riding more and it makes me feel 40 again rather than the wrong side of 60.In all honesty its doing wonders for my fitness and strength.

I live really near and our house has views towards the park.It's heartbreaking to see this happening again.The wind changed norwest this afternoonand now it looks like the top lift station may be affected.

Results: New Zealand National DH Series Round 3 - Christchurch
It was quite a brutal course- lots of rocks and dry slippery Christchurch moondust. It’s a pretty unforgiving place tbh. Fun to ride but I guess it would be scary to race. Not as bad as before the fire when the dust was inches thick hiding all sorts of mayhem!

Pinkbike Poll: How Many Derailleurs Have You Actually Destroyed While Riding?
All of my broken derailleurs were lshimano slx and they were all made out of cheese!Sram derailleurs seem to be a bit more resistant to my incompetence as do deore 12sp…..go figure
