YT Industries Releases Autobiographical Video, New Branding & 2018 Range
@mtbikeaddict: I guess they meant an extra or additional 11%? Devil's in the details, and is so often missed by marketing it's worrying.

X-Fusion's $199 Manic Dropper Post - Review
@WAKIdesigns: I'm 183cm (6ft) and run a 200mm 9point8 in my Transition Patrol Carbon size Large, almost inserted to the collar and still have room to insert further. The bike has a low top tube and very low seat tube but with lots of straight tube space. I want the saddle slammed for steep gnarly descents and to get out the way cornering, but still need it full-height for my long-but-not-gangly legs. 200mm is game changing for me. Before with a 150mm I would constantly be using a QR on the frame to physically move the post insertion which sucked, and if I didn't would constantly get punched in the chest or stomach by my saddle on steep trails. There is a real need; I know plenty of other people in the Sea2Sky that run 170mm and above. Now that they're more available in fact, most people are going longer.

Polar M450 GPS

$150 CAD
Polar M450 Bike GPS - MSRP: $235+tax Brand new, boxed, warranty replacement. Only selling as I now have a Garmin watch making this redundant. Excellent high-accuracy GPS with 1-second recording intervals (best in class), and barometric altimeter, making it perfect for MTB. Long battery life (12 hour trail rides logged). Mounts on bar, frame top-tube, seatpost, wherever you like. Works with Bluetooth sensors: heart rate, power, cadence, speed, etc. Way more accurate than your phone and saves wearing down its battery too. It can use your phone though to upload rides instead of the cable, which can then cloud-sync to Strava (and many others). Very reliable, waterproof, clear display, backlight. I love this unit. Even has emergency LED light in case you end up riding home in the dark. Warrantied as one of the buttons wasn't registering properly which polar said was because I dropped it (maybe true). All replaced free of charge. Excellent customer service. Have Topeak HRM also available for $30.
