Industry Digest: 30% Drop in Shimano Annual Bike Sales, Apple Vision Pro Shopping Apps, Brake Lever Lawsuits & More
"Shimano annual sales down 30% in bike division" sounds very dramatic until you realize they climbed hundreds of percent during covid so they just soft land to "normal" values of pre-covid. Them having crazy amounts of inventory they are trying to get rid of with insane discounts is another matter.

Raaw Releases UDH Retrofit Kit for All Jibbs & Madonnas
@lkubica: I would buy that even when running standard rear mech just to save the head ache of sourcing special dropout. Walk into any bike store anywhere you go riding, they will have UDH in stock *hopefully*. :)

Video: How to Simply Set Up Your Shock
Agree 100%. Also dynamic riding position is way different to static one "on the parking lot", so using something that is always the same(seating position) and then adjusting from there is much prefered way of setting up my bike for me.

Review: RockShox Vivid - Shock Week 2023
It is called TouchDown technology, as it comes to play when you land from a jump. It is supposed to enable silky smooth touch down(see what they did?) because it is not damped and it ramps up once you are firmly on the ground.

Review: Fox Float X2 - Shock Week 2023
@Jordmackay: I have a solution, it is called Super Deluxe Ultimate Coil(with adjustable hydraullic bottomout) + Sprindex adjustable coil. Or you can try an EXT coil shock, that also has some sweet HBO, but the price of the SDUC is soo sweet and it is really one of the best shocks I rode to date - I had Float X2 and DHX2 on the same bike as well, they didn't last very long. Once the DHX2 exploded on the first ride after warranty repair(there were 4 total warranties, they always claimed that there was no problem, even when I sent them the shock in two pieces).

First Ride: The New RockShox Vivid Ultimate Shock
The bypass is called TouchDown as it comes to play when you *touch down* on your landing. It should be extra plush.

Welcome to the 2023 Value Bike Field Test
@ryanandrewrogers: That drivetrain is meant for e-bikes and Shimano markets it as e-bike specific. I don't see any manufacturer speccing it on naturaly aspirated bikes anytime soon..
