The Ripley AF is our beloved, category-defying, short-travel, singletrack-scorching Ripley—rendered in aluminum and with a touch more aggressive geometry. All the sizzle and pop of the carbon Ripley is now available as a complete bike at a wallet friendly, sub $3000.
This bike is a multi-talented shapeshifter; a light, snappy, fast, fun, incredibly versatile bike that can get a whole heckuvalot more rad than its 120mm travel and gossamer weight imply. And making it out of aluminum only broadens the Ripley’s already broad appeal. It still rips like a Ripley. But it also costs a whole lot less than the carbon version, and is, well, more metal.
To show how capable the Ripley AF is, we set 11x US National Moto Champion Pat Smage loose in the desert. It's amazing to think he's riding a bike that retails for $2,999.

Watching videos over the last while of cross-discipline riders (bmx, moto, young riders, particularly) getting on a bike and just having a session at spots is why I came into this in the first place and I love seeing it.
trials guys on natural terrain? Young guys and girls finding berm gaps at bike parks? More of that please.
I'm not saying racing isn't fun or we should ignore it, but god... It ended up being 90% of what was done/talked about instead of just riding.
JKW: "Oooh pick me pick me!"
Ibis Marketing Team: "How bout we use that Moto Trials guy, Pat Smage?!"
Hahaha just kidding Jeff, we love you. I'm not sure we could've handled you AND Pat in the same video. It would make us all feel very technically inferior.
Shut up and take my money!
If you go from the hurricane side it's easy peasy. I've made it in a 2wd BMW
If you go from the rockville side you need a 4wd or something with adequate ground clearance.
