The
Santoporo XC organizers couldn't aim for a better debut in the
Internazionali d’Italia Series' calendar, laying a solid technical foundation for future years. The teams and the athletes reported impressive feedbacks for the event organized by ASD Esatrail and Superbike Team, with the support of Regione Marche and the Municipality of
Esanatoglia on Sunday, April 30th. The event also witnessed the display of top-class performers, with
Luca Braidot and
Sofie Pedersen leaving their mark on the race, as well as a morale boost leading into the World Cup campaign.
The Italian rider preceded U23 World Champion
Simone Avondetto and his twin
Daniele Braidot, whilst the talented Dane finished ahead of
Martina Berta after an exciting duel.
Elian Paccagnella and
Elisa Lanfranchi topped the Junior races, on a day that managed to dodge the heavy clouds in spite of the unpromising weather forecasts.
