YT Capra CF pro XXL

$4000 USD
2019 YT Capra CF 29er XXL Replaced rear shock with RS super deluxe ultimate coil with the same stroke as the CF pro race model to give 170mm travel. Also have a new 170mm air spring for the forks but have not installed. Has some AMS stick on protection since new. No marks on the bike. cushcores installed and red valves Red Oury grips, Red crankbrothers stamp 7 large pedals Red crank arm protectors. Otherwise bike is completely stock and barely ridden (maybe ridden 4 times). Been sitting in garage not being used while I’ve been riding my xc bike. I still have the original packaging, so shipping at buyers expense is an option.

Bike Check: Danny Hart's Cube Two15 HPC Mullet Race Bike
@edfw: Ah That helps my understanding, thank you. Total surface area for speed of heat transfer - convection vs total mass for thermal conductivity (and capacity for thermal energy at a given temp)? Individual padlets having greater surface area but lower total mass and the opposite for the large single pad.

Bike Check: Danny Hart's Cube Two15 HPC Mullet Race Bike
@Tmackstab: True, but it was not the performance limiting factor in the car. That would have been me. Closely followed by the front end grip level. Not sure of its relevance in regards to brake pad sizes but ok.

Bike Check: Danny Hart's Cube Two15 HPC Mullet Race Bike
Danny Hart on a large?! Further evidence that bike companies sizing is on the small side :( Also, One pad per piston to help dissipate heat? My old corvette Z06 brakes had one pad per piston and the first thing everyone did for fast road or track was to change to a large single pad. In addition to an opportunity for a compound change, it provides more mass of brake material to deal with heat. Not sure I’m buying that line from Magura. However I will say I hear great things about their brakes and fully intend on buying a set, just not for that justification above.

EXT Announces New E-Storia Coil Shock
@justinfoil: Totally agree. My point was against the same response that gets rolled out at every ebike debate around weight.

EXT Announces New E-Storia Coil Shock
Good news for the tall and heavy folk too! Additionally; As a “work in progress” (fatty) on my trail bike, I would weigh significantly more than a smaller person on a heavy ebike. (Also when I was thin, I’d still weigh more than a normal person on an ebike due to my height). So there’s an alternative scenario for all the folks moaning about ebikes weighing more and destroying trails. Will there be complaints that talk people weigh more and are destroying trails or is it just easier to moan about ebikes?

Pole Updates the Stamina Range and Introduces New Gold Colour Option - Pond Beaver 2021
@SleepingAwake: I thought it was Alu Capras that had the majority of issues? The drain hole on the underside of the chainstay being a weak point?
