You know what makes me really happy? I'm finally starting to see some 'zocchis in the racing scene again. The fork battle is, at last, heating up again (not just RS and Fox anymore, like the past 2 or 3 years).

beginning to see a couple of Dorados too. I haven't seen a BOS on the WC yet ...
  • 3 0
Sick to see Kovarik take it!!! He deserves a podium! Funny to see how skilled Anne Caro is, she dominates the WC for almost a decade, takes 5 years off then comes and back to win the longest DH in the world like its no big. My hats off to her.
  • 3 0
Possibly one of the most impressive come backs ever.. good to see Nico doing so well too
  • 5 0
Kovarik for the win! Yeah! Arm pumps from the Pac NW to the Jersey Shore tonight.
  • 5 0
Hey!! dont let the SITUATION catch you doing that
  • 4 0
soo sick awesome pics as always
  • 3 1
how are kovarik and leov so far ahead of the rest of em
  • 7 0
WOW! Awesome pics, but why did they put an asterix in place of the "a" in Shane Gayton's name... it's not a profanity.
  • 1 0
Did it to mine too! Frown
  • 5 0
13:22.99! is ridiculously quick. I can't even begin to fathom how fast they must of been going through some of the sections.

when you see a guy on fox 40s, you know they mean business
  • 3 0
I'm guessing MoonWaffles64 is messing but I'll play ball anyway.. Yes Fox are great and I love fat forks too but Kovarik won riding marzocchi and he seems to love these harse looking courses. I reckon they're back in the game.

I'm just glad it wasn't Gee that won. He's been on the podium too much recently. Go ahead and negative prop me UK heads!
  • 7 1
audeo03 you'd be chest bumping and yeehaaawing all day if an american was on the podium as much as gee.
  • 2 1

  • 2 0
That rock is STEEEEP, was riding that track for the first time last week and I chickened out and rode the easier line next to it. Next time I will have to suck it up and go for it.

flag Shred-NZ (Aug 9, 2010 at 3:49) (Below Threshold)
Wtf that's not steep. Now I see why there aren't many Canadian DHers on the world Circuit, whistler is nearly flat!
  • 3 2
u cant say that when your from nz and clearly havent ridden whistler as there is a rediculous amount of elevation change on that track.
  • 1 0
 Captain Saftey!
  • 2 0
there not talking the whole trail...there just talking the rock steep at 4:32 which is basically straight down...the helmet cam doesn't give it justice
  • 4 0
 @ Shred-NZ;
you are seriously the dumbest person on this site....all you do is start sh*t and make stupid comments.
  • 3 0
Yep, sorry Shred-NZ as someone from NZ now living in Canada I have to say your ignorance is an embarrassment to our country! By putting our country name in your screen name, you have decided to represent us and I wish you wouldn't do that because I don't want to be associated with anything you say.

Only saw the helmet cam. I was talking about the whole track, not the individual rock face, yes that's steep, but look how much pedaling Troy Brosnan is doing.
  • 1 0
its a 12km DH race theres gonna be some pedalling sections
  • 3 0
kiwis up in the mix once again. yeh yeh!!!

Nice to see a Norco in the mix!!

The above static pictures are 1000% better than Crakworx's live streamed coverage.
  • 2 0
good work Jack Reading - UK rider with Ellsworth Factory support - killing it this season against some "big" names
  • 1 0
Yeah, Jack`s flying again this year. Won`t be long until he gets a top 10 in the World Cup.
  • 1 0
Yeh that's so sick that he got 7th congrats to him!
  • 2 0
14:52 in troy's vid, he does a wheely for the girl.
  • 1 0
great course and riding. does anyone know the name of the second the tune at approximatly 9 minutes in?
  • 2 0
The pic with number plate #202 is not Anne Caroline.
  • 2 0
 It's Emmeline Ragot I think.
  • 1 0
noticed that too, thought it might have been Emmeline cause of the bike but then I saw the jersey and helemt were differnt... very confused.
  • 1 0
 Yeah, that's Em Raggot
  • 1 0
I'm surprised they didn't throw an asterisk in Raggot just then.
  • 2 0
Nice to see the old schoolers throw it down. i.e.. Nico and Chausson.
  • 1 0
The pictures are amazing, can just sit and look at then for ages. Such sick composition and style, make me very envious!
  • 1 0
lol at blenkinsop's face on the podium and pinkbike censoring Shane Gayton's name
  • 1 0
12km really? that's like 53kph average for Kovarik. 40x11 @ 120 rpm is only 54kph. There are uphill sections. BS
  • 1 0
Good observation mate, 13:22 @ 12km is 54km/h. That's a fast average down that Garbanzo run.
  • 1 0
That rock face is actually deceivingly smooth to ride down, even in the wet.
  • 2 0
 that norco looks mean
  • 1 0
anyone know where I can get the full results?
  • 1 0
 LOL Sam doesn't look happy
  • 2 0

  • 1 0
 Some sick shots.
  • 1 0
 KovOrik.....nice!
  • 1 0
 Pinnned!!
  • 1 0
 sick vid
  • 1 3
why is most people stopping on da way down and acting like pusssies?
  • 2 0
It's probably practice, most people were practicing sections of the track and pushing back up.
  • 1 0
Also, I can't imagine most people can ride flat out at a top level for 15 minutes down a mountian.
  • 1 1
caiocrz, clearly you have never been in a downhill race so shut the hell up.
