#5 - Geoff Gulevich boosting it in the Cariboo. The Cariboo offers endless possibilities for bikers and when you bring riders like Geoff out, you are bound to get the goods. - Solos Productions Score = 26.750
#4 - The shot was taken in a rush as the glorious light was disappearing quick. One of the first shots I'd taken since arriving in BC from Scotland. The flair from the flash really bugs me, but some people say they like it. - Mark Mackay Score = 23.671
#3 - Festive times were upon us so we decided to head out and try and get something special to kick us into the Christmas mood. Spent over 3 hours setting up for the shot with Duane and Tom, but was well worth it. Now tell the snow to go away so we can ride bikes! - Laurence CE Score = 22.823
#2 - This photo was shot by Hanussen of Gee killin' it! Score = 20.967
#1 - This image was created during the filming of 'Follow Me' in Brad Stuarts yard, BC. Brad had tuned up the yard and offered it to Kurt Sorge and Geoff Gulevich for a segment in the movie. The word of sick jumps travels fast and why not have all the top shredders come and session together, so we were fortunate to get a visit by Aggy that day to come and throw down with the other two. Aggy, seen here, was a huge asset to the vibe of the day and also to the vibe in a bunch of my photos. Very few jumpers have as much pop off jumps as Aggy, or style for that matter. When I'm taking pictures of him, I have to always remember to frame a little looser for him, or he blows through the roof of my shots... - Sterling Lorence Score = 19.117
That's it for 2010, looking forward to seeing what everyone's lenses bring in 2011!
Agree totally, despite the first place (which in my opinion isn't better than other pictures from this news, although still stunning) it's surely the best photo of the month set! Great pictures, each one should take first place Love them!
I love scrolling down to the #1 POM (follow me).. It looks like he was shot from a cannon! amazing shot, and jump! props to both the photog and the rider. stunning.
Imagine when you have to ride up and off that lip. I don't think I could convince myself "this is enough speed". Then imagine where he's at in the pic looking down... Brad stuarts yard is crazy
yea well that guys just a f*cking idiot. I mean its cool to watch, but sending a 50fter on a bmx before you even know if the jump works? Things are cool up to a point, and then its just insane. Still cool if it works though. Aggys pic is awesome btw
well yeah, your obviously getting negative props. Doesn't insane make it cooler? besides, if you're a bmx rider, your hardly going to test your jumps on a bike your not comfortable riding are you? how else are you meant to progress to bigger stuff without testing them? think before you type, your the "f*cking idiot", not dane searls, he has balls.
Yeah I want to see some more stills of Dane Searls when he's a bagillion feet in the air. I've seen a few. I mean, set that shot up with proper lighting and camera position and it could just look aggro.
I'm just saying, although it looks cool, the risk/reward factor just doesnt add up. In my personal opinion, 60ft on a fully rigid bike is just stupid. But I guess that if he sends and lands a 20fter, 30fter, 40fter, and 50fter first its slightly less crazy.
if the man's landing them then then he's obviously reaping the rewards. the same could be said for rampage, it looks cool but jumping off cliffs is just stupid. what you've got to understand is these guys are fuelling our progression, regardless of what bike they're riding. and as for 'oh and i concede that "f*cking idiot" was a bit of an overstatement. thats only true if he has never sent anything of a decent size b4', well fair play for taking it back but did you actually think a pro dirt rider would have never hit anything big before?
Monday morning, just about to start work and to get me through the week to the weekends riding I always click on POD to give me that inspiration. Now we have POM thats a bumper bonus on a bleak, wet and cold Monday morning!
