looking forward to pic of the year.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 1:56)
Looks as if it might not happen... I have my fingers crossed.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 10:23)
Hopefully it will, highlighting the most-viewed or most-favourited photos of the year also seems to be a good idea (like it was in 2007, as far as I remember)
This black background and large size of photos style is awesome, a real pleasure to watch
(Dec 7, 2010 at 11:36)
I agree with brooce on both points. The new layout for POM really draws focus to the details.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 12:32)
POY would be a brilliant ending to the year. Please do it anyway and publish the blog so we can have a look! Would still be sick even it doesn't make the main page
(Dec 7, 2010 at 13:48)
that would be awesome! if POM were going by insaneness i would definitely say
(Dec 7, 2010 at 16:04)
if you look at the number 1 picture, look from his knee pads down to where the water splits and you can see an owels face
(Dec 7, 2010 at 17:12)
ya man totally
(Dec 7, 2010 at 18:04)
mtb1stdegree: lay off the weed.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 18:51)
just lettin you know what i saw^^
(Dec 7, 2010 at 0:08)
I would honestly have the pictures the other way round in order

(Dec 7, 2010 at 6:42)
really? I think
is god awful and boring.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 17:20)
I agree and disagree w/ man0with0stick. Its a crappy photo, but Kinrade is KILLING IT.
(Dec 8, 2010 at 14:55)
my bad i thought they were in numeric sequence,
is boring!! and
is well deserved!!
My mix up, sorry
Your right though Kinrade is mental :o
(Dec 7, 2010 at 0:09)
I like them all but i think the 5th one deserved to be higher
(Dec 7, 2010 at 5:26)
is immense - asking to be desktop wallpaper
(Dec 7, 2010 at 4:21)
anyone else the plain black background makes them seem for epic?
(Dec 7, 2010 at 4:43)
too true, especially
seems to be coming right out the page.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 6:20)
sure is, defiantly going to be my wallpaper when me own computers working again
(Dec 8, 2010 at 5:55)
Why is the photo at the top labeled "photo of the month - november" and then the other photos are labeled number 5 - 1... when there's already a number 1?
(Dec 7, 2010 at 17:59)
WTF, are you all photo fagmajors? WGAF. This is a site about cool pics and other shizzle of bikers. Some great shots, more power to the takers.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 20:38)
I would have liked to of seen November 15th's POD on this list. "Toonie Drop" is my POY.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 7:20)
is my #1. All top draw though.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 2:25)
Those are some awesome pictures!
(Dec 7, 2010 at 10:51)

Hi people =)
please vote me
.... Click the green plus =) thanks in advance)
(Dec 3, 2010 at 10:21)
picture is the least exciting, doesn't have a particularly great location, and showcases little camera ability. All the rest are phenomenal, though!
(Dec 7, 2010 at 2:17)
'Little camera ability?' Are you serious?
(Dec 7, 2010 at 3:10)
dh slug you have no idea ...........
(Dec 7, 2010 at 5:03)
Oh he's 100% serious sam-davies. Frightening no?
(Dec 7, 2010 at 6:44)
hahaha little camera ability.. that's right, the flashes came out of the photographers eyes, who had pulled them out and placed them at just the right spot. He then opened his mouth an absorbed the image with an image sensor he installed at the back of his throat. Man you need to get learned.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 9:04)
that's an intense visual: man with stick describes big white splash over the back of his throat and in his eyes.
the water shot is straight on. not hard to place flashes or time it right.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 9:20)
hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate. dhslug, placing flashes does take time...however the overall composition of that image is why it got photo of the day. All the others may have "cooler tricks" but none of them show near the photographical skill or thought regarding composition as the last. I second man0with0stick's statement.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 9:43)
I'm glad you think so. "Cool location, good riding and good photography is what you need to make POD". It does seem like there's more to it . I'm saying it doesn't maximize location, rider skill, or photographer prowess. If you want to talk about composition and planning, look at #2. Climbed up a tree. Skillz. Anyway, none of this banter matters because the POM is decided based on views/faves.
(Dec 7, 2010 at 12:54)
Actually it looks like he used a tall tripod for
buddy, no tree climbing "skillz" as you super radical tubular kids would say it.
PS: It's "skills"
(Dec 7, 2010 at 13:44)
I agree with dhslug, it doesn't clearly show what the rider is doing, he's not in a good spot, the depth is all weird, it's not framed well, you have little to no idea where they are or what's going on, and it's overexposed. Not that it's a bad photo, but it's more like top 10 than #1. (but only on picture number 1, anywhere else he may be digging himself a hole he's on his own.)
(Dec 7, 2010 at 13:50)
Oh it's spelled skills? Sorry cyrix, i'll make sure to edit next time. Tall tripod you say? I guess it is. Mad propz then on framing the shot. You don't get too many run-throughs on a superflip, so it seems like the photographer had quite a knack.
p.s. you're three years older than me, cool guy.
Go ride bikez
(Dec 7, 2010 at 15:21)
Actually a tall tripod doesn't make sense now that I think about it...because that would have to be a TALL TALL tripod. Maybe he did climb the tree and the tripod just has a flash angled up towards the spot.
