Review: TRP's New TR12 Shifter and Derailleur
It is black and gold though... which is fairly crucial.

The Revised 2020 Mountain Bike Race Calendar
This. France, for example, won't allow events until at least October with over 5000 people. So yeah.

@scottlink: I'm fairly certain the two brothers ended up hating each other, but would need to triple check that.

Field Trip: Sub-$3,000 Trail Bike Roundtable - Torrent vs Jeffsy vs Hightower vs Meta TR
@mtb-sf: Great comment, Sir. Please elaborate so we can understand how on earth a frame can feel cheap when “pedalling around”? (Also have good words to say about YT)

Now Finished: Fox Factory Ask Us Anything
@Mntneer: It does in Europe but not in the US. However, sales tax in the US (based on my knowledge as an English person, living in France but not North America) is that it's 5-8% on the cost of the product. So, for reference: "Float X2 comes in between $639 and $669, or €849 to €889" MATH 669 *7% = 716. 716 USD to EUR (today) - 658€. Even taking exchange rate changes into account, that's 200€ difference. That's 1/4 of the product price... For reference, a MacBook Air costs 1068$ (981€) inc 7% sales tax, and the same product in Europe costs 1,199€. So yeah, there is still a difference but even that isn't as great as this difference. I guess they focus on OEM, have no idea what the split is (OEM to bike shops), but clearly not enough to warrant a more reasonable price in Europe.

(Expects to be ignored) Why are Fox products so much more expensive in Europe? I've got full Fox on both of my bikes (both came on the bikes when ordered, inc. Transfer on the enduro). I'd really like to change my air shock on my Enduro bike for a coil. But, the cost of the new coil in Europe is insane. In the US, I'd buy it. In Europe? I won't, and I'll go Ohlins. Would love to know if there is an actual reason for this.

@onemind123: yes and no. But your point is still relevant: teams won’t even share their suspension set up with drivers who are spending hundreds of thousands per year to race with them.
