Hope Questions Lack of Parity in Shimano Micro Spline Licensing
@PHeller: Here is the patent application: The patent application claims any freehub design that has at least 10 splines! If it is granted, white industries might still be in trouble.

Hope Questions Lack of Parity in Shimano Micro Spline Licensing
Do you guys think the Shimano patent application that covers the Micospline freehub will be granted? Seems crazy that Shimano can claim any freehub design that has at least 10 splines! If it is granted, white industries might still be in trouble. I think the patent application is bogus but every brand can't afford a legal battle.

Review: Forbidden's New High Pivot Trail Bike - the 2019 Druid
Are you running a lower guide because of the increase chain growth on the lower run of chain? Seems like this bike will give your RD clutch a workout.

Burning Question: What's Next for Mountain Bike Helmet Safety?
I think helmet technology has improved at a snail's pace compared to bike technology. I think a Giro Prolight from 1985 would still be 90% as safe on the road as modern helmets. I think the biggest safety improvement would be to reduce cost for wider acceptance. It seems close to half of the riders in "Friday Fails" are not wearing helmets. Second would be designing a helmet to be safer for multiple impacts. Everyone knows that helmet material cost is very low. If companies kept the same low priced model hemet around for 5 years instead of 1 or 2 they could more easily amortize their mold and labor costs.

How does the remote work? Do you press and hold the button to open the system like the normal reverb? or do you tap the remote button and it opens the system for a specified time interval?

Guerrilla Gravity's Less Expensive, US-Made Carbon Frame
My guess is that this frame is made with Sheet Molding Compound or Bulk Molding Compound. I wonder if their new carbon fames are.lighter than their old alloy ones.

Review: Commencal's Supreme DH 29 is an Unflinching Race Weapon
Interesting how much chain growth there is on the bottom section of chain. I wonder if this will create a problem maxing out the derailleur cages on trail bikes with high suspension pivots?

Here's My Zerode Taniwha Test Bike - Tell Me What You Want to Know
I agree, it would be cool if PB removed the rear triangle and compared the unsprung weight to a Trek Slash. I'm not sure how you would measure center of mass, but that would be amazing.

Is Polygon's Square One EX9 the Elusive 'One Bike'? - Review
I also really like the suspension animation videos. The only problem with this video is that it is not the same bike. The link lengths are all different. What is the point of the video if it does not show the bike being reviewed?
