North Shore riding, Boogieman and Boogie Nights

I created this video to showcase 2 of the most popular trails ridden on the North Shore right now and the evolution of the Shore from classic technical riding to newer flow and jump trails. The trails Boogieman and Lower Boogieman showcase classic North Shore technical riding with ladder bridges, steep sections, rockfaces and optional skinnies and drops. Boogie Nights, on the other hand, encompasses a style of riding that caters to the newer generation of riders, fast flowing with jumps and drops.

There is often debate about what style of riding people prefer with the newer flow and jump riders preferring flow trails and staying away from Classic Shore type riding. In my opinion, a well balanced and skilled rider will be able to easily excel in both types of riding. I intentionally focused my riding on skinnies and steep sections of trails for a period of 2 months. Following this, I went to ride some flow trails and noticed that my confidence on these trails along with my confidence on jumps was much increased. In other words, I felt much more stable and well balanced while riding. My conclusion is that to be a well balanced and all round skilled rider is an encompassment of skills learned in varying terrain as well as types of features ridden.

I made this video showing the main features on both trails and have tried to include as many of the trail features as possible in a 4 minute video.

Please provide me feedback in terms of music, video editing, humor, etc...

I would appreciate all suggestions along with criticism.

Enjoy
