Press Release: REI is Exclusive Retailer for Ghost Cycles in USA
People buy bikes from bike shops for the free service and the chance to form a relationship with the owner and workers there... Who would want to buy a bike from an REI or a Sport Chalet where the service is bad and the workers are not trained bike mechanics?

I think the only way to do this would be if you were building a custom bike from the ground up so much money to replace everything already existing
