I'm being told that Average Joe's does not have enough players and will be forfeiting the championship match.

The Frace F160 is Milled From a 70kg Slab of Aluminum
What a piece of crap. This is no more innovative or clever than those dudes who make frames out of bamboo. Why does a bike deserve props just because it looks different than the norm? If Trek had come out with a nearly 40lb enduro bike that didn't ride any better (maybe even worse) than what was already available then we'd all be slagging it off. Hope could have built this (and they sort of did but only as a show bike) in the mid 90's but probably didn't because it isn't very good. In the UK in the late 80's early 90's we had Kirk Precision making frames with a similar aesthetic but from cast magnesium which is far more innovative than this. Empire bikes also had a similar aesthetic (I know it was welded cast and drawn pieces but it had the same look) but they are no more as it didn't offer any advantages over what was already available. If the bike was just an experiment to see if a frame can be produced with just a CNC machine and no welding then it was a success. This though is a product for sale that apparently offers no advantages over what is already available and is really heavy and expensive and thus should be treated with disdain like all other rubbish 'innovations'.

Cotic Solaris

$1000 GBP
Hi, I’m begrudgingly moving on a medium; blue, Cotic Solaris to help pay for the family holiday. Pesky kids. Anyhow, it’s in really good (but used) condition. It’s got the usual marks etc from riding but no dents and the stanchions on the fork and the seatpost are A1. Upfront is a Rock Shox Pike RCT3 set at 120mm with a Luftkappe air piston upgrade. The fork is amazing, really supple initial stroke with loads of support in the mid stroke. The Luftkappe was fitted by TF Tuned in March at the same time as a service. The fork spins in a Works Components angleset headset that knocks 2 degrees off the head angle. The combination of the 120mm fork and the headset result in a head angle and BB height that’s the same as the latest Solaris that’s just been released. Wheels are American Classic All Mountain 29’er. Amazingly light wheels with 28mm wide rims. Bearings and freehub are as smooth as silk. The tyres are less than 2 month old Specialized Butcher 2.3’s set up tubeless. Seatpost is a Rock Shox Reverb. It’s the latest ‘B’ version with the improved SKF floating piston. It’s 10 months old and has been faultless. On top of that is a Specialized Henge saddle in 154mm as I’ve got wide, womanly hips. I’ve got a few saddles knocking about though (Gobi, Selle Italia’s, WTB, etc) if you’d prefer something else. Rear mech; chainset and shifter are all XT and in good nick. It’s got a 11-42 Sunrace cassette on the back and a 32 tooth thick-thin oval ring on the front. Plenty of life left in the chain; cassette and chain ring. Brakes are Magura MT Trail Sport. Four piston on the front and two piston on the back. The pads are really only two rides old. The stem is a 60mm PRO jobbie, the bars are RSP Ego carbon 780mm and the grips are DMR Deathgrips. It’s in really good nick and rides incredibly well. If you can pick the bike up then great (I’m in Kent) if not you’ll have to cover the cost of the postage. I’m looking for £1000 ono. Thanks.

Rock Shox 29'er Reba

$100 GBP
Howdo, I'm selling a Rock Shox 29'er Reba RL 120mm (will come with 100mm air spring as well). I got the fork in 2014 but I think it's a 2013 model. There are currently 3 tokens on the air top cap but I should have another couple to send with it. It got serviced less than 200 miles ago and had the slippy SKF seals fitted. The steerer is 185mm and tapered. The thru-axle is a 15mm non-boost. There are marks on the legs from riding and the tiniest mark on a stanchion. You can't feel the stanchion mark with your finger and TF Tuned have said that it won't affect the fork. I can't get the images to link so hopefully these will work. https://flic.kr/p/XsUmc5 https://flic.kr/p/X7Ji49 https://flic.kr/p/Wug3Pa https://flic.kr/p/Ws19Jj I'm looking for £100 and postage

UCI Announces Changes to Regulations of Mountain Bike World Cup Events
Some people need to think before they type. Why do people on here think that if Red Bull ran DH racing that it would be better for Women and Junior categories? If Red Bull ran DH racing it would be for the purpose of promoting their brand to sell more caffeinated fizzy water. So to draw the most attention to their brand they'd only want to show the best riders (which would all be male) riding down really tough tracks that only the best riders could handle as it would create the biggest spectacle and attract non-mountain bikers as well as riders. And how do I know that? Because that's what they do already with Hardline and Rampage. If DH was to swap a governing body for a corporate sponsor then that would only be to the detriment of Junior and Women's racing. In my opinion if they want to improve the quality of the racing without limiting the field then they need to bring in A and B finals for Juniors, Males and Females. Timed practices and Qualifying on Thursday and Friday, a B final for each category on Saturday for riders who didn't qualify in the top 10-15 and then an A final on Sunday for the top 10-15 riders in each category. This way when the camera's are rolling live on the Sunday only the fastest riders in a total field of 40-60 riders are racing. This would also make the men work really hard in qualifying as only the top riders would make the Sunday live coverage.
