@unrooted:In all honesty, I was pretty skeptical when I bought my Cascadia from High Above. I had never owned a "hip-pack' before and I did not see an advantage to wearing one. I gave the Cascadia a chance, and on rides when I don't foresee myself having to pack a lot of stuff in, the hip-pack is my go-to choice. It is particularly easy to pull around to the front to access anything inside as oppose to having to fully remove your pack from your back. And I have to mention that it is quite nice not having something on your back throughout the ride. In the end though, there are advantages to each option so I guess it is to each their own.
