Corsair Ducat M Pre Production Frame - 26.02lbs

$600 GBP
Reluctantly selling my Corsair Ducat because there is nowhere to ride anymore in Colchester. I also find due to other commitments the bike is not getting used particularly much. The money sitting in this bike could be better used buying a KTM Duke 125 or something rad. Pick up/drive halfway. Not splitting, full bike for sale only. No delivery. Medium Corsair Ducat in pretty Matte Green. Pre-Production frame has no serial number or any other marking other than "M" for Medium. A Production frame has a serial number on the downtube. Frame has a few battle scars. Hairline scratches and a few paint chips dotted here and there. Frame has no serious defects or dents! Frame comes with currently fitted Horizontal Dropouts and extra "Maxle" 12x135mm dropout. RRP on Horizontal Dropout is £80. (Pics) 2009 RockShox Pike 454's bought in mid 2010, versatile fork with Compression and U-Turn controls. 95-140mm. Controls work the same as they did a year ago. A few scuffs on the lowers. Red knob for preload included. (Pics) Halo Freedom Discs in special edition Bronze, laced to Black 2mm DT Swiss spokes and nipples and two black Hope Pro II hubs. The back hub makes a lovely sound, it is trendily loud. Very light and strong wheelset! Brand new hardly ridden Bontrager XR1 Team Issues' in 2.2 and 1.95 - 490g and 450g - super light tyres have improved the handling massively! Easton EC90 Monkeylight Composite Bars ride fantastically, coupled with a Spank Spike Stem and Carbon Spacers this creates a flyweight cockpit combo. Translucent Animal Edwins are supplied. A few knocks on the bars (Pics) Recently bled Avid Juicy 3 will stop you. Super light Ashima 135mm Air Rotor compliments the setup. Shimano Cranks are sub 800g, not sure on the model but they could be Deore's or LX's. Perhaps even Deore LX! Coupled with the appropriate Shimano BB. Ratio is 32-14 off the top of my head. Grippy Atilla Wah Wah pedals. KMC Gold Chain. Shimmed Gusset Pivotal post coupled with an Odyssey Senior Pivotal in Tan with perforated detail compliments the Bronze rims and Bronze accents on the Easton bars. Great contrasting colour for the Matte Green! Headset uses the bottom cup from the original headset and the top cup from a Shimano internal headset, just as a quick repair when the top cup went wrong. The angle adjusting headset DOES NOT WORK! All this weighs in at a decent 26.02lbs. A rad looking bike that has been specced to high standards. The Ducat has been unanimously called "One of the best frames they have rode" by my friends, including Rose Bikes Charlie Watts and Spank Bikes Oscar Golding.
