Tech Randoms: Fort William DH World Cup 2019
Those are the Guide RE on the Nukeproof. I'm wondering if people are going to start running e-bike specific parts such as the Guide RE's since they're built for stopping heavy ass bikes.

Kaos Seagrave To Miss Maribor World Cup Due To Lack of UCI Points
How do you screw this up? As a world cup DH team, you should know the UCI regs and plan ahead in the off season to ensure your riders meet all the qualifications needed to race. Regardless if the "admin error" was on UCI or FMD, you and your team should be all over it. If you're healthy and able to race, I can't imagine sponsors are too stoked to see you on the sidelines because you're 9 points shy of racing.

Where is this place? It's not on the map my girlfriend bought from Ikea. Must be Australia.

Round 1 Voting Closed - 2018 Photo of the Year Contest
I hate that the Semenuk and Finn photos are paired up in the first round. They're both so good. Love this every year though, some seriously insane shots in here.

Field Test: Pivot Firebird 29
This now has me wanting to see a PB Reviewer's shootout on the Credit Line PB Hot Lap. We've seen Kazimer, Sapp, Moore, RC, Levy and now Aston ride. Set up a "PB Reviewers Hot Lap Fantasy Contest" where we get to pick our top 3 out of the reviewers. Each reviewer gets to pick the bike they liked the most from the field tests and race it against the clock.

Viral Bikes Launches New Skeptic & Dérive Pinion-Based Hardtails
@ccolagio: I'm no local but I went to college in Portland and lived there for 5 years after. I still have family that lives in SE Portland and Sauvie Island so I'm there often. There is great mountain biking outside of Portland (Hood River, Syncline, Sandy Ridge, Cold Creek, Black Rock, etc) but not much within arm's reach of it. Or nothing "legal" I should say... Makes it tough to do an after-worker without making a trip out of it. The reason for that statement you've heard is due to, what seems like, a refusal to build trails near the city. A ton of money and resources have been spent to make it a great place to ride a road/commuter bike within the city, but it always felt like none of those resources were or would ever be directed towards mountain bike trails. God forbid anyone ride a bike in Forest Park.

Review: Five Ten Hellcat Pro Shoes
Shimano has the AM7 and the new GR9. I know the market isn't full of flat pedal shoes with lace covers, ratchet or boa systems but those shoes take a beating and tick some of those boxes.
