Fabio Wibmer Switches to Canyon
@funkzander: I recent bought a strive and was able to return it 100% money back AFTER 30 days. Support people were nothing but helpful (though I was dealing with the California team, not homebase)

Ask Pinkbike: Bike Development Project, Fox X2 Bottom Out Point, Quiet Chain Stay Protectors
@just6979: err I think you misunderstood. Patents GOOOOD. Patents on labels preventing you from killing yourself or at minimum destroying your components BAAAD. They patented a label telling you proper psi by weight. That's not innovation

I'm so glad I went all fox this time around. Shady patenting a label on the shocks. I was wondering g why there was a label on my old monarch but not my dpx2. Another reason for me to dislike the SRAM/Rock shox axis

Field Test: 2020 Ibis Mojo HD5 - An Easygoing All-Rounder
I have to agree that the 2020 Enduro is just about the stableist at speed... unless you are dealing with rocks and roots.. I found the enduro to be superior in almost every way but for one flaw: BB height is too low - prepare for near constant peddle strikes.

Field Test Editors' Choice: 2020 Top Fuel vs F-Podium vs Trail Pistol S vs Mach 4 SL vs Joplin
Glad to see the Trail Pistol take it for Sarah! I just ordered the Smash last week and hope its bigger brother is just as fun. For my part, I weigh 215lbs. I've always said I can lose 2lbs easier than any frame can. Spent my entire MTB life riding aluminium. 30+ lbs trail bikes mostly. Recently bought a Canyon Strive (wanted to go full enduro). I ended up returning it for a whole slew of reasons (mostly manufacture defects) but... it was 34ish lbs for the race frame and I have to say not one lick of weight mattered. It was the fastest bike up and down I've ever ridden (when the shapeshifter worked). I went with GG despite the weight because for me at least, weight doesn't matter unless its over 40lbs. That said, I'm a rider looking for fun over performance. I demoed all the heavy hitters in the Enduro class (sb150, 2020 enduro, ripmo, strive, megatower, etc) and found the biggest difference wasn't weight, but how fun they were. The sb150 for example can soak up damage but IT IS NOT FUN. The strive slayed my PRs, but it was not fun. Megatower was amazingly plush, not fun. My take: fun trumps performance unless you are a competitive racer.
