Josh Bryceland on the Downtime Podcast: The Story So Far
Best bike podcast out there for sure. Sound quality is rad and Chris your a great host. loved it for ages but just keeps getting better and better. Keep em coming! Id make a really original comment about not understanding Josh or that he should come back to DH racing. But a combo of using my ears to do listening and the fact Id rather a sound guy does what makes him happy than that which doesn't, means I cant make either comment. I hope that Chris and Josh keep doing what makes them happy. Ill keep listening and watching if you both do.

Orange crush custom build

$800 GBP
PLEASE DON'T ASK ME TO SHIP THE BIKE TO ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE UK UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY £300 SHIPPING. IVE HAD A BUNCH OF PEOPLE ASK DESPITE THEADD SAYING SHIP TO UK ONLY. Selling my Orange crush as Ive had a back injury and cant ride it. Built a couple years back with a 2015 frame the spec is as follows (read on as its not an out the box bike): Large frame Rock Shox Yari 140mm solo air fork Brand new in 2016 as I was having repeated warranty issues with the revelations that came on the bike. Ill send a supply a seal service kit with the bike that came with the fork, however Ive ridden it so little they aren't ready for service yet. Hope Hoops wheels, Hope enduro rims on Pro 4 hubs (brand new springs and bearings in the rear hub both straight with one small dink in the rear rim) Tubless with Maxxis cross mark and Ardent tyres (I know xc spec but thats all I've been riding so thats what its running, Ill sell with a set Specialized Butcher/purgatory tyres too) SLX 1x11 drivetrain (Shifter/mech/chain/chainset/34t chainring and 11-40t cassette) new last year SLX brakes with heat sync pads Rock Shox Reverb Stealth 120mm serviced just before Christmas by Sram tech via LBS Race face stem Renthal bars Hope headstet Charge Spoon saddle Just checked my ride stats and Ive done less than 700 miles on the bike and less than 200 in the past twelve months. I don't do uplift days or race on it (apart from one ill advised solo 24 hour xc race. Its definitely not the right bike for that!) However its not brand new it has been ridden and has a few marks and scratches and Ive tried to show these in the photos, but nothing that affects how it works. Im not after a playstation or premier league stickers Im only looking to sell. Ill ship within the uk via UPS or similar within 1 week at buyers expense (i reckon about £40 anywhere in uk and tracked) Thanks for looking. Sam

As said above Cam was the only person on that feed who sounded like he'd seen a bike before so not ripping my fave north murican rider at all, just the two dudes who did the main commentary. And a good idea when people rip your work is not to moan about "all these people moaning about it" (many people sharing an opinion usually indicates an element of truth) but try to actually produce some quality and silence the complainers.

Now this is some quality coverage! This makes it look sick and not a "peanut butter" or a "bullet dodged" in my ears! Nice work Pink Bike.

@Marilou: Hi, so a couple of points; 1. I was at work so stood up not sat on a couch 1,a I never mentioned the advertising at all and understand that there will obviously be adverts my issue was the commentators. 2. I didn't say I didn't appreciate the event or the filming, or its free-ness. The reason I was annoyed is that I was glad it was going to be on and watchable. My grievance was that I thought the commentary was crap (i stand by this) and that it (for me) made it unwatchable. I feel that as an industry the bike world is in a really lucky position where it controls its own media output. Thats great but with that comes a responsibility to how the sport is portrayed. (there is if these companies like pink bike and crankworx want to grow the sport and move it forward anyway) Commentators like the guys on today don't do anything to shake the 90's TOTALLY RAD DUDE image that mountain biking can do without. I found it boring and inane and people new to the sport would think it was a piss take! The sport is amazing and what these athletes, guys organising the events, guys filming and putting out content do is mind blowing. To me thats worthy of a little more artistic respect in how it is portrayed than was given by these guys (again my opinion as was the OP) 3.Pay to watch; gladly, so that the aforementioned athletes and people working for pb can earn enough to live and also produce REAL quality viewing, and we get footage like that from the world cup races (which are also currently free)
